This morning I got the Chavez breakfast burrito with bacon. It has eggs, beef sausage, cheese & house sauce in it. When I got to work I decided to cut the burrito in half because it was a big burrito. When I cut it the sausage inside was pink. I called them to let them know and was told “yeah. It’s supposed to be pink. We can cook it for 30 minutes and it would still be pink.” I went back on my lunch break to show them the burrito and get a refund. I was greeted with, “oh, you’re the girl with the burrito. Do you want us to make you a new one?” When I said no thank you and asked for a refund she handed me cash and told me to have a good day. They didn’t want to see the burrito and had me throw it away in the trash can. I did not receive an apology or even talk to a manager even though I could have gotten food poisoning. They did not seem concerned at all and the whole exchange made me feel like these kinds of things happen often.

Bad food at high prices! spoiled salad! 10 years ago Casablanca was a great place to eat cheap and vegan. no longer. next time I'll go to tacobell. over the last few years my experience is consistently terrible! the burritos are ALWAYS the worst distribution of ingredients; salsa only on one end, beans on the other, the middle pure raw cabbage. the salad is always distressed. and now their prices are as high as other sit down dining available. the management needs to learn how to train and inspire their workers.

Had the super burrito and rootbear drink, but as I ate the burrito at home I would bite into a portion of a wooden skewer, it was probably used in the cooking of the chicken, and a hasty cook or sloppy chicken prep was responsible. As it lodged between my gum and tooth I immediately became concerned about any future bites, and opted to discard the burrito, but imagine if I had swallowed the 1/2 inch piece and it caused some internal damage? Dangerous!!

I USED to love Casablanca. Over the last year or so the quality of food (as in how it is prepared and the accuracy of the order) has been very disappointing. It started when I received burnt, cold chicken in a burrito. I called to let them know and the girl was very rude, offered no refund or exchange and she hung up on me. (I work in customer service, I was very nice to her because I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of an angry hungry customer-she had no excuse to hang up on me) I didn't go back for a long time because of the bad taste it put in my mouth. The one good thing I can think of about Casablanca these days is that it is open Sundays. That is how I found myself in the driveway today. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was thrown together and not appealing in any way. I open it and it appears that they forgot my bacon. (epic disappointment after driving all the way home) I called to let them know and again, poor customer service and I was informed that the bacon is wrapped in the egg. (which is gross and made it soggy, in my opinion-who does that?) And again I was hung up on with no offer to return it or have a new one made. I understand mistakes are made, and I can handle a mistake made on an order, or even burnt-cold food if the customer service is good I'll come back. But one thing I can't stand is poor customer service. I am VERY sad to see the quality of Casablanca go down so much. I used to recommend them...

I live in Murphy, and I used to enjoy Casablanca at the location near my home. After Covid hit, the place just went straight downhill. It seems that management doesn't care about quality control at all. They were constantly screwing up my order before it went out of business. I quit going there after five messed up orders in a row.

Then I started going to the place on Williams Hwy. in Grants Pass; hoping it was better... it wasn't. A month before it closed, I spent five minutes waiting for someone to to take my order. It was 5 o' clock, nobody in the drive-thru but me. I left and nobody noticed. Two weeks later, it closed for good.

Today, I went to the remaining Casablanca on Union Avenue across from Asante Hospital. My dad and I ordered $13 burritos. My burrito came in a box without a tortilla with the ingredients mixed up like a salad with broken taco shells added. We had to back up and get them to make the correct order.

My dad said his burrito was the worst he'd ever eaten there, and he wouldn't go again for that garbage. My burrito was mostly cabbage, a sprinkle of cheese, and a very dry flour tortilla that was left out all day.

It's no wonder Casablanca is going under. It's too bad, it used to be good until management stopped caring about customers. If only they'd remember the magic that got...

Don’t understand the hype being from out of town & a huge fellow foodie. The food is not even fusion its utter confusion. It’s a disgrace to call meat “chorizo” when it’s taco seasoned beef (chorizo is pork) that’s soaked in red oil that gets every where & stains. Bento boxes served w/ basmati rice smh. Basmati rice is the longest grained rice you can find & is typically served in Indian cuisines like curries, not Japanese! Bento box rice calls for any short grain rice & they’re literally using a fragrant long grain rice. & don’t even get me started on the cubano.. authentic Cuban sandwiches have mustard, sweet pickles, pork or ham, & Swiss. Here they smear black beans on bread, salsa & some other seasoned meat, not one of the typical ingredients was used to make a Cubano. I was terribly disappointed once I saw & tried it. Saddens me bc I’d like to see more delicious authentic food in Grants Pass, or even a decent American fusion w/traditional plates. Whoever created the menu needs lessons on different cultures’ cuisines before calling it this or that. Never going back there for food, maybe tater tots as they are straight forward. I will say the Drinks are good, better than sugary dutch bros, but they always mess up your order… & the A typical ‘pretty’ young white girls are always working upfront?? Not at...
