Worst fast food place this side of the milky way. If you go in for a DQ ice cream, you will have a very short wait. They seem to prioritize ice cream sales. If you are there for food, be prepared to wait for 20+ minutes just to get your food. Was there on a Friday night at 7pm. There were about 12 employees behind the counter (What fast food joint needs 12 workers on a single shift? Taco Bell is 10 times busier and runs with half that many employees). Three of them were standing around not doing anything. Fries and cheese curds came out fast. The guy working the burger line seemed to not care about his job because he was the slowest burger line person I've ever seen.
When The burgers finally came out, I asked for fresh fries and cheese curds. They dumped the same cheese curds back into the fryer, burning a couple of them because they got overcooked. DO NOT GO TO THIS DQ FOR ANY REASON. Avoid it like its ground zero for the zombie apocalypse.
This store needs new management that whips these high school kids into shape, and needs to fire some of them. They seem like they are all friends from school, just standing around having a good time for an easy paycheck - not caring about customers.
Also I don't think this particular DQ would pass an OSHA inspection. The floors behind the counter were filthy and one of the kids (handling food and bringing it to the customer) ran his hands through his hair and didn't wash them. DIS-freaking-GUSTING.
Oh and to top it off, they have one of those fancy fountain drink machines where you can select from a touch screen what you want to drink and what you want to add to it. Cool huh? Almost all of the flavors were unavailable. They didn't even have lemon-lime soda! (Sprite/Sierra Mist..). This...
Read moreI was the only car in the drive through when I ordered, and drove straight to the window. I paid and received my ice cream and sodas. Waited about 3 minutes, they asked me to pull forward to wait for my food. 6 cars in the drive through had come and gone before I received my food (about 15 minutes later). At this point my ice cream is melted. We asked what took so long, and the guy said, “I don’t know.” We leave the parking lot, and try a fry, they were already cold. We finally get home to sit down to eat, and the burgers were VERY poorly made.. Honestly my 3 year old son could have assembled a better burger. The buns were all smushed, nothing was aligned, and the ingredients were all on one side, not spread over the whole burger. This happened on all 3 burgers we ordered.
Another time I went, all I ordered were blizzards. They tipped the first one, and handed out the rest. The rest were all melted and would’ve dumped all over the place if they tipped them over. But Dairy Queen’s policy it to tip each one to prove they are at blizzard standard, not milkshake.
This is the only location I’ve had issues with, but it’s the closes one to my house, so do I keep going back in hopes it...
Read moreI like Dairy Queen a lot and go quite often. My last trip to the one on Redwood Hwy was really bad. It started ok went thru drive thru got my order girl was friendly. Went home pulled out my BLT chicken buger which is their oven bake so more money, there was no chicken on the sandwich. Look in bag for receipt and there was none so I went back waited in line get to cashier who didn't look happy to be at work. I handed her the sandwich she ask the question so you want chicken. WOW I said yes that's why I got that sandwich m. She proceeds to the manger then walks in back has them put a piece of chicken on it and hands it back. I didn't want to upset the other customers so when I got home I called the manager. He asked what do want anouther sandwich or money back. Since Im already home again I don't want to drive back. I told him you to talk to your cashier very unprofessional and I should have had a fresh sandwich when I came back with the sandwiche he agreed but...
