I arrived and 2 employees were working with others. Then a woman came in and then a 3rd lady. Out of the back came an employee who started working with the third woman, who arrived after I arrived. He did not ask who was next, just went to work with her. Upon finishing with her, he stated out loud he was going back into the employee area. Only effort was to leave properly. 15 minutes later one employee finished working with his customer, and another couple walked in, and walked right up to him and he started working with them. No acknowledgement of any of us by then 3 customers, who had previously arrived before the couple. Within 5 minutes of the couple arriving and receiving immediate service with no acknowledgement to us, the employee came out of the back and asked if he could help me, which fortunately I was the next customer that should have been asked. But he didn't know that, just asked what I wanted. Upon completion of my brick purchase, I asked about the lack of consideration of working with the next customer or at least asking who was next? He said, "it didn't matter, it was common around there!!!" AMAZING RESPONSE. When I asked about the couple that the other employee began working with when there were 4 other customers standing there, his reply was, "they may have been a previous customer!" Again when I asked if that was true, wouldn't it be courteous to say that to us waiting, he replied, "it happens..." I walked out in amazement, if I ran my business like that I would be out of business. Guess when you're a national company, you don't teach or aren't concerned with "Customer Service," you have lengthy contracts and customers can't get out easily so take advantage of customers and "it happens, around this site" ... in Grants Pass, Oregon for sure. The employees know their phone business that's not the concern, but to just not to make an effort or engage in "customer service, Verizon is Unfortunate." SO SAD and...
Read moreMy wife and I came in last Wednesday to possibly trade in our phones. We were not greeted as we walked in. Only 2 guys working as they just sat at their stations helping other customers. Had to wait about 15 minutes to be helped. We got a heavy set guy we think his name was Paul. He never introduced himself. He didn't seem to know a lot as he didn't offer any info about the difference in phones and what would be best for us. He told us the plan for the S25 plus and we decided to go with that. He said they didn't have any and he would have to order them. He said it would take about 10 days. Since we weren't real thrilled with his lack of enthusiasm and knowledge of what we needed, I told him we would be going to Medford in 2 days and would try there. After going to one of the Medford stores, we found out that the deal that Paul would have sold us was a promotion and it ended on Wednesday the day we were there. If he had told us this, I would have ordered 2 new phones. The guys at the Medford store were very helpful and knowledgeable. But since the promotion was over we had to settle for the S25. So this Grants Pass store lost out on a sale because of poor...
Read moreNot very good, first off my wife and I have been having service issues since we've had the phones and we've actually called customer service more times then we should have and still did not get the help we needed. Secondly due to the extremely poor service we got they sent us extra sim cards that we did not need or use and they just sort sweept the issue under a rug which has ruin my wife's credit and causing issues when trying to get a new phone, and just pushing everything aside and not dealing with it because apparently nobody at the headquarters our customer service in any department we've been sent does not know how to do their job. The service we got when we actually went into a store was sort of helpful but still got us nowhere. That's the only reason there are two stars and believe me if I could give negative stars it would definitely been my first choice. Verizon feels it's perfect alright to charge ridiculous amounts for phones, plans and service but when there are problems and they actually have to work and do their job they just push you to a different department again and again...
