Mama D's Authentic Kitchen & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Grants Pass

I've eaten here many times and have always had the best food and service. I'm not even that big of an italian sub eater but I am hooked on these sandwiches. Now there is even a gluten free option that I understand the bread was painstakingly chosen for...all that research was worth it because it is delicious. I also love that the gluten free subs come in one small size as I'm not always in need of a big sandwich. I've tried the Italian quesadilla and that's amazing as well, the vodka sauce is speechlessly good. I would wager that everything I haven't had yet to try is also top notch as it clearly all contains the one ingredient that makes it the best---LOVE. Oh and if the tiramisu is available when you stop by get you some. Thanks for being a multi-location food truck, your visits to Azalea always...

I highly recommend trying this food cart if it's open. Definitely follow the Mama D's Facebook page for exact locations and updates! I had the Supremo with the best Giardiniera relish you will find, EVER! The Giardiniera relish is sold separately and so worth it! I am excited to try the Chicago Italian Beef next. Also, don't forget your Mama D's punch card! She rewards a free entree after 10 punches. I love a loyalty based program. Keep up the great work! It's hard to find quality food in this town.

Update: The Chicago Italian Beef was everything I expected, fantastic! I did the wet version togo about 15 minute drive and the bread was still holding well and not soggy. I look forward to trying the dipped next time I can sit and eat....

For a big event way too slow getting food out. Was told all the 'cold rollup" food was being processed after hot grilled and baked. I ordered a cold wrap because sugars were dropping and I needed it now. An hour later, no food. The people in front of me were done and people behind me served. That's when I asked where mine was. I undestand fresh cooking but also understand prepping ahead, especially for speed on non cooked menu selection. I saw a group get 3 hot dishes. They had to wait on 4th. Why? Because they also ordered a rollup. These were just meat/cheese rollups. Prepping ahead would have speeded up things...
