The Lucky Duck — Restaurant in Grants Pass

I was there on Thursday night- walked up to the OPEN sign glowing in the dark (8pm) and found the door locked! Weirdo- headed back to my car and the cashier lady (blonde hair, very thin, fast talker) yelled out"HOLD ON- I'm coming". She unlocked the door and three people were already gambling and she was ALL wound up! She said"I lock the door here when I don't feel safe" and " there's a green van in the parking lot that has been there for 2 hours! "The guy behind me asked to use the restroom and saw the sign on the door said "Out of Order" when he asked her about whether it was functioning or not she said" oh I put that up so people don't try to come in use the bathroom". It was locked, she had to unlocked it FOR HIM! What? So i proceeded to a machine and was there for about 45 minutes as she continued to lock and unlock the door for anyone coming in or out- VERY ANNOYING She had to explain to every person why the door was locked and kept asking them "did you see the green van out there? They all said No- There was no green van when I arrived or when I left. It was not a relaxed experience AT ALL and I don't think I will be back- the vibe was uncomfortable for everyone- I heard someone call her a "Door Nazi! " No one was winning squat! I don't know what her deal was Maybe she should switch to decaf! Just my opinion- had to let you know it's another dimension in The Lucky Duck II...

Great staff, clean friendly place to relax, gamble, or just grab smokes on the way home. Love that they stay open late for us insomniacs. Cant get much better than that.....
