I swung by here to find a chill spot to smoke a joint before leaving town, and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. There’s even a sign by the bathrooms that says smoking is only allowed over by the parking lot, so you know they’re cool with you keeping it contained.
Right next to the parking area, there’s this nice strip of grass and trees—plenty of shade and space to just kick back without feeling like you’re in the middle of everything. The creek nearby adds a mellow vibe that makes it easy to relax.
It’s clean, felt safe, and no one bothered me at all. If you’re passing through and need a peaceful place to chill out for a bit, this spot hits the mark.

It would be nice if they put in a walking trail to circle the inside so people would walk around it more. They tend to just stand near the entrance so the grass is dead right there and all the dogs congregate by...

The lawns were healthy and unlittered we had four kids with us and met a lovely mom with three kids who we enjoyed visiting with. I’m new to Grants Pass and am very impressed with the Parks department. I did not use the bathroom but I saw a few...
