Corvette Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Grants Pass

I wish I could say I had the same experience as all the other peoples reviews that I read. However, I came in on Christmas Day and it was pretty busy. I wasn’t surprised since nothing else was open. I was on a trip back to Portland where I live and needed to get some food for myself and my co-pilot who happens to be diabetic. I waited 40 minutes before someone finally took my order. I would have just left but there was nothing else open. What I did observe is that it was real obvious that the 2 bartenders working did not get along. I finally was able to get an order in. The bartender that took my order was super nice and very apologetic. Although it wasn’t her fault it was the other bartender. Hopefully the next time I visit, if I do it...

We wanted a place to eat within walking distance of our hotel, and we were hoping for something beyond a chain fast food joint. So we were delighted when our hotel manager recommended the Corvette Bar and Grill.

My husband had a party melt that he said was one of the best he ever had.

I had the club sandwich. They skip the middle slice of bread and instead add extra meat, cheese, and lettuce. I got the side of house-made potato salad. Wow! Excellent!

The portions are very generous, and everything is fresh.

The owners are delightful. They served our table themselves.

The whole place is super clean and smells good. The ceiling is rough-sawn wood. The carpet looks new.

BTW, they have live music...

The interior was clean, warm, and inviting. We were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel right at home, allowed us to choose our seating. We sat at the bar and she made us a yummy bloody mary and a delicious purple drink!

The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was excellent, they were not kidding when they stated they had the best burgers. The bartender provided great service, ensuring our comfort and making us feel like locals. Talking of the locals they were also very friendly including us in their conversations.
