Pochos is hands down my favorite restaurant in the area! Their food is phenomenal, the service is great, and the atmosphere is superb! This has quickly become our regular spot whenever we go out to eat and I crave it regularly!
My usual order is the Baja Salad and a Fresca Margarita. My husband gets the Birria Tacos and Ceviche. All are incredibly fresh, flavorful and aesthetically pleasing! The prices range from around $10-20 per plate depending on what you get. It is more expensive than other Mexican establishments in the area but the quality is incomparable. They offer margaritas in 2 sizes, regular and grande, and the grande is probably a regular size at other places-which for me that is beyond fine because I don’t need that much alcohol, but something to be aware of if you are used to other places!
The service is always great! There is one server who always goes way above and beyond to help us! When we take our toddler, she is very understanding and patient as he has his toddler restaurant moments. Everyone is very nice, though, and everything is incredibly fast!
The atmosphere is different than other restaurants in the area in the best way! It is fun, upbeat, and upscale without being “fancy”. We love it.
Pochos really is incredible. I am so thankful to have it...
Read moreI hate leaving a one star review - I worked in food and beverage for 12 years and in my life I have never witnessed such horrible service. I also managed a restaurant. I understand an hard night but based off the flow there was no excuse for what happened. Our waiter (male longish hair) was a sorry excuse for a waiter. The food was decent when it finally arrived and it took us 20 minutes just got get it all corrected since he left so many things out. We waited 20 to get tortillas for our fajitas while he just walked around even though we had made him aware of the errors, then he brought flour and not corn. It was like pulling teeth to get this guy or anyone else to check on us or help us. After waiting 25 minutes for him to come by with a bill we watched him as him and the staff were all sitting on their phone and eating. I finally got up walked up and interrupted him on his self phone sititng down. I never once saw a manager or I wouldn’t have written a review and just mentioned this to someone. We all left extremely disappointed. I have always been a Day Y Noche die hard but was excited to see what this place had to offer. No surprise nothing has lasted in that building. The staff overall act like they don’t want anyone there and...
Read moreRude beyond belief. We were told to sit outside and menus would be brought out behind us. 15-20 mins later, received menus. Ordered the salsa app and guac app. Received the guac and mentioned the salsa. Received in an abrasive manner, “we’re working on it” with a visibly agitated facial expression. After an extended period of time, one salsa is brought out… not the app we ordered. Mentioned it politely and again received an abrasive reply. NEVER received the correct salsa. Finally placed our orders. Ordered extra beans with one meal and add-on beans with the other. Eventually received it for the first meal. When mentioned for the second, received yet another abrasive reply that there wasn’t a ticket for it (all was ordered at the same time on the same ticket), insinuating I had never asked for it to begin with, followed with an intentionally rude facial expression. I understand they were busy, it was hectic, etc. To be honest, it didn’t bother me to wait. What bothered me was the absolute rudeness when simply asking where our missing items were. It doesn’t even matter that they didn’t charge for two of the items…. The rudeness is what we will remember. It was...
