We were actually going to go to Manhattan Pizza Co across the street when my friend said, "Ive always wanted to try THAT place" pointing across the st to Aroma Bar and Grill... he said Indian food and I was through the door before him.... We arrived late on a gloomy night.. as I recall it was a Thursday and there were clouds in the air and curry was on the table... I got the chicken curry and garlic naan and my friend ordered shrimp curry and garlic naan as well. we literally arrived 15 minutes before closing (i felt bad about it, but sat anyway... so how bad did I really feel?) The food came out quick, service was prompt and man.... IT WAS GOOD. I actually preferred the shrimp curry over my chicken curry, probably because I love seafood, but the chicken curry was great none the less. I cannot wait to go back and try some more..... This place is a gem.... Located right next to Police station across from Manhattan Pizza Co.... Dont drive by, stop...
Read moreThis restaurant can do better. The food was average. The plates were not clean. They were still greasy. The biriyani served here doesn't do justice to the dish (no aroma of the spice that is a must for any biriyani), it is just rice mixed in a simple curry. The laccha paratha was well done to the point of being blackened on the edges. We had to waste most of it. The garlic naan is good. One order of naans can be shared by two people. If you like tang, the tomato soup is a good choice. The vegetarian samosas will not disappoint you. Chicken pakora was a good appetizer to start with. The okra was half cooked and wasn't shaahi in any sense. Mango ice-cream delivered us from the mediocre main course. The staff is kind, the ambience and the taste of the food (if claiming to be Indian) definitely needs improvement. You cannot just throw spice mixes and call it...

They may not be as amazing as my childhood culinary experience but they are still delicious. In my experience the staff was kind and service quick, the food while not the best Indian food I have had the pleasure of consuming I would go back again and I am fairly confident they are the best in the area(within a hour) and recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting Indian food in the Great...
