4B's Restaurant — Restaurant in Great Falls

I very much enjoy coming to 4B’s! (Shared experience on TripAdvisor as well)

I originally started eating at JB’s (Another Restaurant in Great Falls, Mt.) over 30 years ago, twice a week like clockwork meeting with friends and business associates.

It was back many years ago that I met Nikki who was my primary server at JB’s. I’m a disabled Veteran and back then my PTSD was quite severe. JB’s was one of the very few restaurants I felt comfortable going to.

Nikki was, and still is, a very caring individual; she understood the challenges that I faced in public places at the time. JB’s restaurant subsequently closed a year or two ago…

So, why did I start to go to 4B’s? Most definitely a big draw was the fact that Nikki started working there after the closure of JB’s.

The following is the reason that I share this appreciation of Nikki and now with all who work at 4B’s.

4B’s has a tremendous “Family” atmosphere! And the food is Fabulous! If you want, you can have breakfast anytime of the day. Anything you select is going to be very enjoyable.

On the days that I go to 4B’s I generally arrive early and get the pleasure of being greeted by one server. For the life of me I can’t recall her name…because I just call her “New Yorker”. She has a wonderful “Good-Morning”! for me with her delightful New York accent and beautiful smile.

Another server is “Ellen”, who is magic with everyone! I especially like to watch her with the young children that come in. These kids immediately become hers, especially the ones she knows well.

And now the kindest soul who I call a Gentle Giant would be Chris. I'm not only talking about his stature, but I’m also talking about his heart. If you want to see him light up, ask him about his kids!

The waitress was completely out of it. She was "talking" to us from the other side of the restaraunt saying "you're just gonna have to bare with me. I'm the only one here." After sitting for awhile someone else took our order. While waiting for our food, the loud waitress raised her voice to another customer saying she "couldn't give them what they don't have." Another table didn't receive mushrooms on their meal, she said "well its not me, its the cooks. Do you want them to fix it?" We got our meal and asked for water refills (smallest cups in the joint), she said she'd be right back. Another table was seated, she didn't take their order for the longest time, then brought them drinks that were not theirs, and proceeded to take their order. The woman ordered a French Dip and the waitress asked "do you want cheese on that?" The waitress didn't write the order down. I watched her go grab cups and fill them with ice and go to another table. After 10 minutes of listening to this waitress the French Dip table left. The waitress loudly told another table "that table left, but the woman was. . . I don't know." We ate our meal with no drinks, but this decision was made as the waitress was having serious issues. This is only the cliffnotes version of what we experienced. Unfortunate as I have had many great waitresses at this establishment...

Maybe the worst service I have ever gotten. I walked in with my mom and an elderly lady sat us. Everything was fine until we ordered our drinks (now keep in mind this was in the evening and I was with not only my mom but my two sisters and my sister's boyfriend) I ordered a Orange Juice and as soon as I said "orange juice" the lady looked at me with a discusted look on her face and said "ok" with a rude attitude. After that she left we looked at each other confused. After a while she came over to take our order. I ordered the New York Steak and Shrimp Combo (pretty simple) and My sisters boyfriend ordered the ribeye steak and my sister ordered the New York Steak. We ordered and everything wasn't terriable but when she came back and said they ran out is when it was a 2 and it turned into a 8. It's not the waiters fault that they ran out but when me and my sister reordered and the rude attitude and the sassy cuntyness from her was far too much . Plus that and that how she didn't give me or anyone else on the table any refills. When we got our food the food had no taste and it was undercooked the baked potato was hard and over cooked. I don't know who this waitress is but she shouldn't be one at all. It was the worst....
