Absolutely worst experience ever!!! We placed a large to go order for my whole family using the menu on the internet. Boy were we surprised when we picked the order up and they charged at least two dollars more for every item we order then what was listed on the internet. Luckily my brother had some extra cash on him to cover it, but the rest of us were not happy when he cam back with the receipt. We called and complained and the woman that answered the phone wouldn't really help us and she quickly said that she needed to talk to someone else and she would have someone call us. Is that what they call customer service?? It was the middle of the afternoon, so there was no way they were too busy to talk to us. Someone finally called back about an hour or two later and said that they no longer work with that website company so they won't honor anything on the website. They refused to refund any of the money back and said that they would call us back and let us know if they would give us any discount on our next visit. They never called us back. We tried to tell them that if they don't work with that website company then maybe they need to tell them to remove their restaurant information and menu. However, we all found it really hard to believe that a company would continue to include you on their website and advertise for you if they aren't being compensated. Its just their way to trick people into getting togo orders from them. By the stumbling in their voice when we called and the inability to help us resulting in passing us off to different people, it was 100% obvious that they were trying to get out of their false advertising. They over charged us by $22.00, and because of that they lost seven customers who would've normally returned to their restaurant. None of us will ever step foot in that place again and we will also tell everyone we know that they are a fraud and to never go there! We should have known considering the fact that they got in trouble with the IRS a...
Read moreAfter leaving another place across the street, we decided to go into Albertos Mexican restaurant just to see what they had to offer. We were seated within a few minutes and proceeded to wait 20 minutes to even get a waiter. The place was empty, maybe had one other table eating and so we thought it would be quick. After ordering a tamale plate and queso and hot corn tortillas, we proceeded to wait for 30 minutes before I asked the bartender where the food was. It was one plate of food, usually in these establishments, that would come in about 5 minutes. This one, however, took a lot longer. Once served, they forgot about the queso we ordered and the corn tortillas, which we had to ask for again. The lady brought out the queso, I took one small bite of it, and it had turned bad. I told the lady who brought it that it was bad, and she said, "I knew it was bad," and walked back to the kitchen with it. I asked myself that if you thought it was bad or knew it was bad, then why did you serve it to me anyway? The tamale plate was good, and I managed to get one corn tortilla as they brought it at the end of the meal. It was the dinner hour. I guess maybe going at lunchtime would be better? Anyway, after I left I hoped I'd be ok, no telling how bad the kitchen was, so I took a chance by eating there when the lady would knowingly bring bad food to you that had gone rank. The spanish rice had a can taste to it as if they used canned rice and just heated it. You can always tell real spanish rice from canned rice. Anyway, all turned out ok, but I'd never eat here again, too risky in my opinion, and the long waits and zero ambiance made it a no go for me. Good Mexican restaurants have that look and feel with mariachi music playing and a great Mexican food smell to go with it. They are also always busy because the measure of a good establishment is customers, especially at lunch and dinner, which this one didn't have at dinner. The cost was 30 dollars for one plate of food...
Read moreEven though this situation was awful, I gave 2 stars because I had 1 good experience previously. Read about the 2 for 1 margs and thought why not? So the wife and I go in today, we ended up waiting 10 minutes for a host, just to be handed menus and told to seat ourselves, no sign or anything else given. So now we are finally sat, and wait another 12 minutes and no one comes to greet us. We made eye contact with every server we saw, no attempt to even address us. Veronica, who is both bartender and playing manager is behind the bar on her phone ignoring any and everything going on. So we start to walk out and FINALLY someone decides to speak to us. We get sat again and we do get chips, salsa, and water. Like previously stated we were there simply for the Margs and hoping to find good food on the menu, seems reasonable right? Well that would not be in the cards today. We order the top shelf margaritas, which was suggestively sold to us, just so they can let us know another 10 minutes later that they dont have the correct tequila. Veronica did come and try to settle the situation, zero solutions were offered and we wanted about an hour of our night, but she did keep going to her phone, that's very important, much more than customers. I strongly suggest carrying an actual manager during working hours, without question these employees require guidance and supervision, and there was no one capable of handling this situation in the building. Maybe the foods good, maybe its not, I couldn't tell ya, in 30 minutes didnt get that far. Buyer strongly beware, and I'm very curious if ownership or any real management wants to discuss this issue with me. Before you ask, there were zero customers in the bar, and from what I could tell there were more employees...
