I took my father here for his birthday dinner. He is very picky about his steaks, and he said this was probably the most fantastic steak he’s had in his life. He also loved the baked potato. Usually he’s very indifferent to the potatoes. I am not a big fan of steak, so I had the mushroom Swiss burger. OMG! Every time I see mushroom Swiss burger on the menu, I order it. This was the best mushroom Swiss burger I have had in my entire life. If we ever have company from out of town and decide to take them out for steaks, we will be taking them to the Cattlemans steakhouse and saloon. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that my waitress never brought my Pepsi. After a while I told her to cancel it, and she forgot to take it off the bill. She was in her first week of training, so I’m not gonna hold that against them or her. She was very nice, and when I pointed it out, she was very apologetic. And I believe that counts for something, also. I’d rather have a nice waitress who made one mistake and apologizes for it then have a waitress who does everything right but has a lousy personality. Also, the interior was warm, welcoming, and western. As a girl from the east whose heart is in the west and south, I loved it. Five stars all the way around.

It's not that the food was bad, it's just that the food wasn't good, especially for the price. The steak was exactly like I could have gotten at village in but obviously for a much lower price (at Village Inn). I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare and it was cooked medium. There was no seasoning used on the steak and in fact it tasted like they had washed it down thoroughly before they cooked it..little to no flavor. They said it was a 12 oz ribeye, but it was closer to a 7 to 8 oz ribeye. My friend who was with me had ordered the same thing and all of his comments were the same with the exception that he also said he thought they had brought him a breakfast steak by mistake. The mashed potatoes were not tasty at all, but the service was decent and the atmosphere wasn't bad. The tastiest part about the meal was the cocktail, I had their Bahama mama and it was actually pretty good, but kind of on the sweet side for anybody that doesn't like sweet drinks.

We ordered 2 of the same things for pick up as parts of dinner at home didn't turn out the way they were supposed to... Called to order mashed potatoes, which were VERY dry and flavorless, white gravy that was lacking any sort of seasoning (which I thought came with the potatoes but was accidentally ordered as "sides", although I'm not 100% sure why if its advertised as coming WITH??) , and 2 orders of the apple cobbler, also zero flavor (with cheap vanilla ice cream on the side). Online, the total is $31.90... Calling in for pick up, which is usually cheaper, it was $38.34 without the tip. Unfortunately, we did not ask for a receipt and I don't remember if we were offered one. I'm just struggling to understand why it was almost $40 for SIDES and bad dessert! A total waste!

If I could give a Negative 5 stars, I would. I have not ever written a review on a restaurant; however, I have called the establishment 3 times to talk about our experience & have not received a call back. So, here: Our meals were HORRIBLE and made 3 out of 6 of us sick. When our food came out, my steak was over cooked, another individuals fish and chips were burnt. Our waitress was kind, grabbed our food, and sent it back. A person changed her order to chicken tenders because she got scared that her fish and chips would not be cooked right. Another individuals steak, in our party, was cold when it was brought out to him. A fourth person, in our group, her meat tasted sour. The fifth person had "mashed potatoes" these tasted awful. Pretty sure they were the dried instant mashed potatoes that had been found in the kitchen after 10 years

The only person whose food seemed ok was our sons, and he ended up being one of the people who got sick.

When the waitress came back with the food that was sent back & handed the new meal to the person who changed her order, the person in our party, could not tell the difference between the fish and chips and the "chicken tenders".

The waitress asked how everything was and we told her the food was not very good, and she apologized. Asked what she could do, we told her it wasn't her fault. She proceeded to try to rectify the situation & gave us all free dessert.

All of us, but 2 members of the party ate the food, so we tried their desserts and were disappointed, yet again. Just awful. We asked for our check & over 200 bucks later, we left hungry, disappointed, and sick.

For paying 35 dollars a steak- this restaurant needs to figure out how to take care of the meat they serve their customers. In general, perhaps their whole restaurant needs a revamp as well. This was the first and definitely the last time we visit this establishment and we will not ever recommend this place to anyone.

Had someone called us back to listen to what took place, and perhaps understood our experience there would have been no need for this review for others to read.

All we wanted was to make management aware of what had happened to perhaps provide a better experience for their...

To start off the service was extremely poor. We came in for our anniversary dinner. The hostess was extremely rude. We had made a reservation and the hostess was rude about it. When we were seated the hostess tried to sit us right by the door. It was very cold and we asked to move to another seat. The hostess got really upset and threw our menus on the table. Our waitress was rude and very checked out. She didn’t explain the menu at all and was irritated we didn’t order liquor.

The salad bar was very high school quality and was nasty. The soup was tasteless and watered down. They had cold bread and hard butter, the bread was like generic and old.

We ordered jalapeño poppers”Hot flashes “ they tasted like frozen food from Walmart. We ordered steaks, I ordered onions and mushrooms which totaled 12 dollars, but on the menu were both listed as being 6.00, total not 12. The steaks were mediocre at best and flavorless. My wife asked about ordering a sweet potato and was told they didn’t have any. Her baked potato was delivered covered in foil. The sour cream was delivered in a soggy container. I ordered rice which was very salty and soggy. We then ordered an apple cobbler which was burnt and in a tiny cup. It was very unpleasant and extremely overpriced.

The bill came to the table and was hard to read. We asked for explanation and the server got very rude and stormed off. The place was very outdated and extremely overpriced and just awful. Do not come here it’s a joke and awful. I’d give it negative...
