My first time trying Culver’s. I went for an early dinner ~4:30pm. The place was fairly empty. The cashier walked up to the register after I & another couple stood in the lobby for a couple minutes alone. Not too big of a deal to me. The kid didn’t seem to have a care in the world. He responded using single word sentences. Maybe he thought we were bros or something. His red eyes made him look like he was higher than a Boeing. If he was just having a bad day I’d kinda feel bad. He completely messed up what I added to the burger. I know it was him because they weren’t on the receipt. I saw him type them in originally but he did a combo when I didn’t want that. So he must have deleted everything and put it back in forgetting those things. Another reason I think he was high. Later while eating, I decided I wanted some ketchup. I went to the dispensers to find both empty. Keep in mind I was there for an early dinner so they probably had been emptied during the lunch crowd. There was trash all over the counter by the dispensers too. All afternoon and no one addressed this? The fried curds were more like mozzarella sticks than any other fried cheese curds I’ve had. Maybe that’s how they are in Wisconsin?? I probably would have come back to try other menu items if it weren’t for my experience. At least the bathroom...
Read moreSo sad how this place doesn't care about their customers. 3 different times I have gone through the drive-thru and ordered 2 extra dinner rolls and extra tartar sauce. Each time I was charged for it but did not receive it. Finally called the manager who made excuses but said she would make sure they are reading the tickets and did say she would put a free meal on the books. Went again yesterday. Ordered the 3 piece fish dinner with 2 extra rolls and extra tartar sauce. Drove to the front and decided to check even though I asked them 3 times to please make sure I get the 3 rolls. Well it was even worse this time. Received 2 pieces of fish even though I paid for 3 and 1 extra roll even though I paid for 2 extra. No butter at all. Walked inside and all they can say is sorry. I didn't use the free meal and paid for it. The manager offered to fix it or put another free meal on the books. A free meal doesn't take care of the problem. Why keep going if they can't get their employees to fix it right the first time. Their fish is good but so is Long John Silvers. So sad how businesses just don't...
Read moreI've had Culver's before but I just had my best run. Every food was a first timer for me.
Grilled chicken value basket. Chicken was so tender and juicy, it didn't need sauces. Bun was soft and delicious. Right amount of tomato. Crisp lettuce. So good!
For a side I got the pretzle bites. Comes with cheese dipping sauce. Oh. My. God!! Bliss from tongue to toes! Soft, warm, tiny salt and just the right amount. Cheese sauce was nice and thin so it got all over the bite but not so thin it ran off. Perfect!
For my drink I got a milkshake with espresso. I don't know if it's real espresso but it tastes like it and it's super good! If you want a good strong coffee flavor, I'd do double on the espresso.
Service was good. Girls that took my order and brought it out were really nice. I don't think I've ever been asked if there was anything else they could get me when giving my food, which was a nice touch.
I can't say enough good things about the pretzle bites! Omg! Get them. Try them. You get ten. Get them! It's worth it!
Happy...
