IHOP — Restaurant in Greeley

When we arrived we were told the wait would be 30 minutes. After 45 minutes I returned to the hostess stand to see where we were in line. We were next. I pointed out that they'd grossly underestimated the wait time.

When they called us we returned to the hostess stand to watch the hostess changing both the time we arrived AND the amount of time she'd told us the wait would be.

If they're willing to falsify paperwork that will be thrown away in five minutes without being reviewed by anyone are they falsifying and lying when it does matter?

It really shows a lack of ethics and scruples in the front of house. The "hosts" are the first impression of an establishment. Based on my experience with them this entire establishment has a culture problem.

On to the food.

With the notable exception of the pancakes (which were delivered five minutes after the rest of the food) everything was cold. Butter on the french toast wouldn't even melt. Eggs were probably cooked to order but were allowed to die under a heat lamp before being delivered. Bacon and sausage were both cold to the touch as well.

When asked how everything was we said it was cold but we ate it (we'd been there for over an hour at this point.) We provided payment without comment. The manager did take 20% off which was great and appreciated.

The overall experience though was negative. I dont believe we will give them another chance and would recommend picking somewhere else or going to a different IHOP location. This one has just too...

I love this place. I’ve always came here for my New York cheesecake pancakes. Today was no exception. Me, my mom and niece came in early to get our table quickly. Had great service and the food was great. My mom only had cash, and told me to go pay for our food and ask for change to leave tips. I go up, pay, and ask for change. So we leave and walk away, and if it wasn’t for the fact that I had to reverse, I would have never saw the lady working there, had blonde hair in a bun and glasses, writing up my license plates. I still reverse and open my window to see what is going on. She says that apparently her coworker thinks I didn’t pay for our food. I’m sorry, what? I have done this multiple times, me going up to pay early to leave a good amount of tips before we actually leave and never once has this happened to us. My mom got out of her car and showed her the receipt to prove we paid. She left but never gave us the paper in which she wrote our plates on. I would have gone in there and asked who thought I didn’t pay and taken away the paper with my plates on it, but my mom had to work so we left it. Never had I felt such embarrassment from that, the least they could have done instead was ask if we paid the minute we walked passed and they told us to have a good day instead of looking at my niece and laughing at her from trying to hold her apple juice. Think I’m not coming back here...

My boyfriend and I came kinda late around 9:30pm. We had the sweetest hostess. She did such an amazing job, was on top of her duties as well as the waiters duties as he was busy with a large top table of high school students. I did not catch her name, but she was such a doll and recommended some wonderful yummy items, cause I'm such a huge pumpkin spice fan. Some items were messed up on our order but we really didn't even complain the few things we did mention our waiter was on top of it and handled everything in a very well professional mannered way. He was very sorry and took care of everything. He went up and beyond to handle and take care of everything even tho we we're not concerned and told him he didn't have to. As for another waitress who was also working in the same section, her attention to all the customers including the ones who where not hers, was so amazing. Nicole you are by far one of the best waitesses I have ever met. Her attention to detail was awesome. Her smile laugh and joy made the evening so warm and cozy. The two large top that came in while we were eating probably couldn't have gotten any better and faster service anywhere else.
