If there was a ZERO STAR rating, I would gladly have this review rated as such! This Car Toys location is by far the most discrimantive, unprofessional staff I have ever experienced, as a long term noco Car Toys customer I am shocked! As a long term Greeley resident, avid car audio enthusiast, and PRE SCHEDULED CUSTOMER of this store for my specific business on this day I was immediately met with nothing but hostility, and prejudice while browsing the store with my young child as we waited for my wife to enter and check us in for our appointment. I made sure to follow all mask requirements, and social distancing despite being the only customer in the store. I was not greeted like a customer should be, but rudely asked what I needed. I made sure to explain my wife had scheduled the appointment, and she would be in shortly to address our business. I was then approached 2 other times asking if there was something I was looking for as if they were suspicious of me shoplifting. We again said we are ok, my wife is bringing the keys in to check in now. We approached the VEHICLE ON DISPLAY that was completely open, all windows down, and stero equipment on and in places for show. My daughter wanted to look inside the already open vehicle and I specifically told her not to get in, she did not. The moment I showed interest into the tweeters that were playing music, I was quickly approached, and demanded to not touch anything. I don't think that seeing a vehicle DISPLAY that is opened and something anyone would want to check out is a good idea if it is an employee's personal vehicle as I was aggressively informed of. Followed by, "can't you read, don't touch." Not a clear indication that this was off limits to even touch, especially the directly displayed equipment with no barrier, or notice upon entry or as you get closer to that display. Bottom line is, I had an appointment scheduled since Thursday, and my wife called the shop on our way in as a courtesy. They knew why I was browsing, they knew why I was there, and in a 10 minute or less I was being watched like a thief and disrespected with no regard to my satisfaction, or my child being there to witness the discrimination. Never again will I purchase from any part of the car Toys company or continue to refer friends and family to any location. Shameful that I felt compelled to directly combat this profiling. Don't touch anything, or browse around if you don't look like everyone else, they will literally have you questioning what you did or said to be made to feel like they are literally assuming you're a thug and a thief....

Because it was so expensive; I purchased the marine system i needed in two parts, first part: i Purchased half of a marine JL audio system from the GREELEY COLORADO store.
What i Experianced while there, could only be described as a general lack of patience across the board.
Second phase: again, now months later and a bit intimidated and hesitant to visit the store and deal with these punks, I just called to ask for prices but even that went sour. I was met on the phone with hostility and again a lack of patience..
The guy who took the call didnt want to work, wouldnt engage, it was clear he didnt want to spend the time. He just kept telling me I had to bring in the boat..
I said no, I want prices first.. He just said he couldn't provide them.. when I continued I finally had to ask to speak to the manager and tried to explain why he just stuck me on hold like he interrupted me by hitting the hold button.
Then the manager got on the phone.. i said you know bud the guy who transferred me to you was really hostile.. almost rude. the manager said nothing crickets... in the phone, like he couldn't care less.
Through persistence he eventually answered my question but also just seemed hostile..
To sum up:
Fella's.. if you dont have the patience to help a customer (and with whatever they are calling or visiting the store for...) then find another line of work. One that doesnt interface with the public.
Car toys.... I have been a car toys customer for years, I come to you guys for everything... all of my boats, cars, campers, everything.
This is the first store I've ever called or visited that gave me this feeling.. i for one would clean that house.
and Fire everyone there
including the managers...

   Read moreI'd say it's a good place to get electronics for your vehicle or home. The people there are very knowledgeable about the products they have and they do have really good products.
That being said, the installation prices to me seemed pretty ridiculous. If you can install it on your own or know someone who can, go that route. They wanted $500 to swap 2 speakers and a single din stereo.
I know how to do the install and at the time, I just didn't have the time or energy to do it myself. After sitting on it and thinking about it for a while, I got off of work early one day and I ended up just buying the products and installed it myself in about an hour.
I understand that it's a business and they need to make their profit but the price that they wanted seemed astronomically high in my opinion. I'm not trying to bad mouth the company or anything like that, just giving my honest opinion. I'm sure they do really well on the install and have a just reason why their prices are what they are.
They provide lots of other services as well. Window tint, paint protection film, led lights and things of that nature. The prices for the window tint seemed fairly reasonable to me, nothing close to the price of electronic installation. I will definitely be taking my vehicle to Greeley Car Toys when I am ready to put tint on my windows.
