EDIT: They did add chile de árbol in a cup in my bag!
The first time I've ordered from El Pastorcito was from DoorDash and so far I think I found my go-to place for Mexican food with a noticeable seafood menu! I've been flirting with doing a pescatarian diet for years and was more than happy to see this place's options.
In this case I got a Shrimp Burrito but was hoping they would add Chile de Árbol after reading a Karen's review. The Karen complained about how she didn't expect her food to be spicy, but that's how you separate noobs from pros when it comes to spicy foods.
Unfortunately my Shrimp Burrito didn't come with chile de árbol which was only a minor request I made via DoorDash but that's okay. Seeing their profile on the site, they ended up being very busy and who can blame them? It's Tuesday, February 14th which obviously mean it's both Taco Tuesday and Valentine's Day!
Either way, I really enjoyed my Shrimp Burrito despite no chile de árbol and in its own way beats out another seafood burrito from a nearby Mexican restaurant despite it not having grilled tilapia. It's certainly a satisfying burrito to have!
If anything, I'm going to be eating at El Pastorcito more especially in-person because of it's seafood menu and with how good the Shrimp Burrito is both regular and by itself, I found a place that matches my tastes!
Happy Valentine's Day to the staff! You got yourself a...
Read more27 bucks isn't bad but the quality of the food is poor. Pizza wasn't available. The beans were literal liquid 🤢 the Chips were stale. The salsa and queso were surprisingly good but too much cilantro in the salsa. Since they didn't have pizza, I got my son chips and queso (nachos) and I told them no meat and yet they bring out a plate covered in meat as my son does NOT like meat. My daughter had cheese quesadilla and it was just too much cheese and you can tell it was cooked in a machine instead of a grill. My chimichanga was really gross. Just chicken and cheese with zero seasoning and very greasy. Pico de Gallo was literally lettuce, sour cream and a giant tomato and then my chimi, after a couple of minutes , became extremely soggy due to the amount of cheese that was around my plate. Server even forgot silverware after she dropped our food, which I had to go get myself Drinks are more on the expensive side and don't offer a lot. I then ordered my son a cheese quesidlla and rice, but she came out with beans and fries. Service wasn't good nor was the food. Not...
Read moreI ordered off EatStreet because when I called, the call didn’t go through. The order went through and we arrived for pick-up at the suggested time. When we arrived, the EatStreet tracker said the food was ready, but it looked like they didn’t even look at the order. We waited 25 minutes—the only customers we saw were leaving as we were arriving, so it wasn’t busy. There was no communication or apology, and while we were waiting, a staff member sat on her phone and ate in front of us. We just assumed they messed up the order and wanted to fix it. However, this was not the case. When we got home and started eating, one of our items had shrimp in it when we indicated “no shrimp” in the order. Thankfully neither of us are allergic, otherwise we would’ve been using an epipen and going to the hospital. The food was decent, but there were inedible/fatty pieces of meat and the tacos dorados were too oily with little chicken. However, we won’t be coming back because of the...
