The Bar - Lime Kiln — Restaurant in Green Bay

This place is going downhill. The food is absolutely garbage. Cold when it arrived. Ordered the BX3 burger which is supposed to be a “Bacon-infused patty, topped with applewood smoked bacon and cheddar jack cheese. Served with maple bacon aioli on a toasted brioche bun.” All I received was a plain bacon cheeseburger without the sauce, so it was super dry. I even debated dunking it in a glass of water to help pass it down. That wouldn’t have helped though because the meat was just a razor-thin beef patty that was presumably hacked off a huge block of frozen meat and cooked to the dryness of an Arizona summer. Also, might need to call my dentist because the bacon was so hard it was like chewing on an actual samurai sword. If my memory serves me right, this place used to be good; they used to use real meat and served substantially-sized beef patties. It seems like they only care about other aspects of running a restaurant that the food is abysmal now. The owner needs to watch out if they keep being complacent, because Green Bay is a growing city, with many new developments each month, and I wouldn’t be surprised if better restaurants begin opening up and leave The Bar in the dust. The tater tots were fine however… if I wanted to know what it was like to chew on...

We used to order from The Bar, Lime Kiln, once a week. Wings, pizza, burgers, and wraps were always of good quality and delivered in a timely manner. That was, up until a couple of months ago. Orders were incorrect, or items would be missing. Wings would show up with sparse amounts of sauce, or dry entirely. When we questioned about plain wings, we were assured that sauce would arrive immediately. Forty five minutes later, sitting with cold chicken wings, our sauce had been delivered. We were told that a credit had been added to our account.

A burger and wrap order, placed for 6/2/2021, was again wrong. My wife's wrap was fine, but my burger was charred, overcooked to dry, and again without any sauce/condiments. We still have a credit with The Bar - Lime Kiln and we would gladly gift it to another individual willing to eat their food. Please, save your money, and eat elsewhere. At this point, I will eat a questionable, wrinkled, gas station hot dog, while risking food poisoning because I would be certain my order would be correct.

The last year+ has been a rough period, and while most places have adapted, The Bar - Lime Kiln has not. I will not update the review as I will not order from The Bar again....

My first time ordering with The Bar- Lime Kiln was far from pleasing. The online web order through their website was confusing and stated I would receive a confirmation email with my order shortly, but never was sent one. Estimated delivery time was 45 minutes from 8:00 p.m. yet took a bit longer which I can understand, yet don't understand after I opened the boxes for my burger and wings and saw the poor effort, poor presentation, and poor quality overall.

Honestly I didn't even know if it would be delivered since I never received a confirmation email. I filled out a contact form through the website and have yet to hear back.

I purchased a BYOB (build your own burger) pricing around $10 with the additional toppings. I uploaded a pic of what was ordered and comparatively uploaded a picture of what was received.. a two patty burger, a few onions and one slice of cheese. The fries tasted as though they were still partially frozen but hey, at least I got a side of ketchup and BBQ for free!

I also ordered boneless wings which were better than the burger, but very disappointed in the overall presentation of food and how low quality it all tasted for the price. Won't look to order from here for web...
