My husband and I were thoroughly disappointed with our experience here. We arrived 15 min early for our reservation with our 3 kids. There was no one in the restaurant at the time. The waitress wouldn't seat us at a table she told us we can have a seat at the bar until our table was ready. I was not impressed and wanted to leave right then but we waited standing with the kids the 15 min. until our table was ready. They sat us with another party of three.
We all ordered and the other party ordered shrimp and my husband is allergic to shrimp. We let the waitress know about his food allergy and she let out a huge sigh and said she would ask the chef how he would like to handle it. She really didn't know how to handle the food allergy. When she returned she said the chef said it shouldn't be a problem. Long and short of it....my husband couldn't eat because the chef cross contaminated the food with the shrimp. He kept wiping the spatula on the same towl he wiped the shrimp on. He also cooked everything one at a time so he cooked the vegetables and passed them out, then cooked the rice, passed ot out, and then the meat. By the time you had the full meal on your plate it was cold.
The chef was not entertaining at all. He did no tricks and looked like he was just learning how to cook. There was another chef at another table who was doing all sorts of cool tricks.
Everything was an additional charge ie...refills on drinks, extra plates to split meals for the kids. We were extremely disappointed. The other party at our table appeared to be disappointed as well. We will never go back and won't be recommending this place to our family or friends. It wasn't worth the money. We had to explain to the kids that this wasn't a true Hibachi experience and we will take them to a...
Read moreToo salty. The ‘chef’ was sharing his views during our meal about how he was married twice and that nobody should be able to get married unless they each pay 5,000 (in front of my husband and I and our kids). He was talking about how he wants to get hammered but at work he’s too busy to get hammered. He also talked about how he likes to parent other people’s kids, including mine, and acted like he was so smart. You’re not, and I doubt he has kids of his own, it’s usually people who never had kids that say that. He also insulted my brother because he only ordered appetizers. This chef seemed like a know it all. Purposely made our dinner unpleasant talking about subjects that are not honorable. Drunkenness, divorce, parenting others kids because the parents aren’t doing good enough. Also, they put an automatic 20% tip on the bill. And they charge $8 for you to share a plate with...
Read moreThis was my first time stopping here, found this place on Google and thought we would give it a try... Keep driving!! I was not impressed one bit with their food or the prices. Don't get me wrong, there was a lot of food, the flavor was just horrible. Everything was so salty I could barely eat it (beef was good), gave half mine away. The soup taste like beef broth with a couple mushrooms floating in it. Whoever made the drinks need to go back and learn how to mix drinks. I ordered a captain and coke and I don't even think she put the captain in there. Not sure why but for some reason we were stuffed next to two other couples at the same grill (there's four of us) when there were two other grills open. I have dined in at probably 15 Japaneese steak houses across the country and this one definitely is at the bottom of the list. Entertainment the chef and his son put...
