There donuts are amazing. Management is not good though.
I called the store about an 1 1/2 hour before closing and no answer. The voicemail clearly stated to keep calling because they just aren't able to get to the phones and they are open. The line was busy sometimes, so it was obvious to me they were still open. I figured Ill just come and place my order in the store instead of over the phone. I know times are tough right now and I wanted to support a business, I also took in account that they most likely are short staffed so they can't reach the phones. As soon as I got there one of the older staff members yells at me repetitively that there closed (a bit over an hour before there closing time). She told me they have a large order so they can't take my order now. I find that so absurd as well, because how can you completely shut a customer out (I was just there for a few donuts), because you have another order to fill.
Then the owner was present and she had stated to me that she understood it was not ok nor fair to me that I showed up and they are telling me they cant take my order. She told me to email her and she would send me a gift certificate. Which I thought was very nice, until I never heard back any response from emailing her. Then I had called the store the next day to just ask if the owner had received my email because I didnt know it she was actually receiving it. The owner out of no where blew up on the phone with me telling me Im harrasing her and that she doesn't need my business. She told me she has been busy, and I totally get that and understood. I just wanted to make sure she actually was getting my email, she could handle it whenever she has the chance. The owner didnt even give me a second to talk and hung up immediately.
Honestly very upset. Im not one to leave negative review's . My parents own a business in which I aid in alot and I understand how tough it is for businesses right now. But the lack of communication and rudeness I experienced was just not proper. Thats not how you deal with customers.
Very unfortunate since I really liked...

Okay, I understand they have new staff there, according to the sign they had on a small table when you come in, but, as someone who has worked in fast food and retail for over 20 years, this was not the way to run a business. My husband and I each ordered a donut and a hot beverage. He ordered hot chocolate, and I ordered a latte with sugar free vanilla and almond milk. The donuts were ready in ab out 15 minutes. The lady who rung us up said they were still working on the drinks. It was obvious she didn't know how to make them, and an older woman, Whom I'm guessing was the manager quickly was telling her what to do. We waited for almost another half an hour for our drinks. When we first ordered, we were the only ones in the store, then, people came in a few minutes after us. To add insult to injury, after we finally got our drinks and left, I took a sip of mine and it was disgusting, there definitely wasn't any coffee in it or sugar free vanilla. It just tasted like hot, unsweetened milk. The girls hand was shaking when she gave it to me. As a manager, if you know someone doesn't know how to work the machine or make something, and now you have people waiting longer than they should be and a line, make it yourself, so it gets done properly. We weren't impressed with the donuts either, my husband's was all melted. Train people properly, when it's slow, and if they need help, give it. This was a disappointing experience and total waste of money, will...

New store could use some training on customer service. When starting a NEW business I wish people would understand the power of customer service and marketing.
No matter how busy, the manager should always chat up with a customer with a smile when they are approached by customer with "your donuts are great!" I only got "thanks" as she moved on to stop world destruction. Come on - ordering high school worker around and looking super busy when there are no other customer should not be the priority.
There were at least 7 people working with 1 person serving as cashier. If that one person is the best cashier you can have to greet customers then this place is in trouble. The first encounter is important and it felt like I was encountered at a Returns Department returning expired milk. It felt like I was begging her to sell me some donuts while she gave me a nonchalant attitude. You can't expect all young workers to come in with awesome attitude but they should at least train.
The 2 girls who actually decorate the plain donuts were nice and...
