New management! I used to rave about this place. Our old dfontanas pricing was high but affordable. We've been going here for years. I didnt mind paying 14.95 for Chicken Parm because its delicious and portions are great. But then it went up to 17.99/18.99. We were like ok we understand. That was only a few mo ago. Now its 22 bucks! I understand pricing going up on different products etc. But this is more than Maggianos in Jax town center and definitely not worth the amt you receive. I also don't appreciate your website showing certain pricing but actually ordering over the phone it's way higher. I got oh yeah sorry about that, etc we haven't had time. What? Antipasto salad went from 9 to 15! Update online 1st and foremost if your going to up your prices. And what is that, more than a 50% mark up? And 5 raviolis in meat sauce with a small side salad with 1 slice of tomato and a few black olives, maybe 2 banana pep for 20 bucks is actually crazy. Oh and a side salad was optional before @1.99 now its included..hmm prev price btw was 15.99. But anyways... My 17 yr old was still hungry afterwards. I offered him some of my food because i felt so bad. We have a family of 4. Me and my husband both work full time, make good money. But for 1 salad, 2 chicken parms and 1 ravioli dinner with garlic bread added on (because garlic knots are not included anymore)- 96 dollars. No thanks! Thats just a to go order. We downgraded our order to a LG Stromboli and 1 ravioli dinner- still 49 bucks. My husband took his whole meal completely off. While me and my other son decided to share the Stromboli so it was cheaper. We used to eat here 3x a week. Not anymore. I don't even think we will be back. This is so unfortunate because the food is good. But now way overpriced unless you own the harbor. I said what I said.

This review is only for the NY pizza. It pains me to write this negative review as this was, without question, THE BEST NY PIZZA we'd ever had. (And we've lived in a number of major metro cities.) But something changed over the last several months and the last 4-5 times (yes-we kept trying/hoping just some off nights) it has been terrible. Greasy, greasy, greasy (a switch to cheap cheese?) and somehow simultaneously undercooked and burnt. (Dough is white on the bottom w/no browning, yet top is burnt-just burnt dough bubbles and cheese.) On the bubbles, oh so so many bubbles in the dough, a few are expected but this last time it was every slice. We ended up tossing it out it was so bad. Such a shame as it was so good and the people there are so nice.

First time eating here and my wife and i Loved it!! The bread they bring for the table was great. Ranch for the salad was very good. My wife got the sampler plate I got the baked ziti with meatballs. Food came out perfect and honestly very fast. Also the sweet tea was very good. Which is massive with me. The diet coke was very good as well. The drink thing is a non issue for some, however, good diet coke, pepsi, or whatever Fountain flavor you like is a good indicator the lines have been cleaned and maintained. Lastly, our waitress was prompt and professional. She did a great job. Definitely will go back!

Ordered take out. Place was cute and staff was nice. But I was very unhappy with the ~$40 I spent. I had my partber call in the order and I picked it up. I ordered garlic knots and pasta primavera for myself. The garlic knots were somewhat tough and not very garlicy, the 'garlic butter' it came with was not likely butter and the marinara with it was one note and somewhat metallic (maybe they use tomatoes with citric acid or a precrushed type). The pasta was awful. It had maybe one mushroom total, but an overwhelming amount of peas. The sauce was weird, almost slightly sweet with no olive oil or garlic type flavor or some sort of umami like a Parmesan. I visually could tell there was likely some sort of very light seasoning, but I couldn't really taste it. Just bland. My partner's meatballs were pretty good according to him. We had no napkins or silverware in our order, and I wanted a dinner date in a park. So I ended up having to stop a fast food joint, buying something, just to get silverware. I lived in NYC for years and I am part Italian, I don't expect high end in Green Cove, but do expect tasty at the price I paid. I think the target demo is older folks with blander tastes and fatter wallets than me, because it took me almost 4 hours of work to pay for a sad...

We have received many good Stuffed Spinach/Cheese Pizzas from D'Fontana's Restaurant, but our last Stuffed Spinach/Cheese Pizza was very disappointing. The pizza crust was stale and the Spinach/Ricotta Cheese filling was very scarce over the entire Pizza, which we thought was due to limited supplies during these difficult days. A few hours after dinner, my daughter and I became very sick with what we believe to be a food-borne illness which lasted several days. My daughter called D'Fontana's to discuss this incident of possibly "spoiled" food, but was unable to speak with a manager or the owners. Staff would not identify the owner and when she called the city for further information, staff stated that there was no record of the owner's name. Our impression is that the stale pizza crust was due to improper food handling and refrigeration. Needless to say, we will not return to D'Fontna's after our illness, since we can no longer trust their product and their responsibility to serve safe quality food to their customers. **We have forwarded our Food Quality concerns to the State of Florida / Department of Business and Professional Regulation / Division of Hotels and...
