Keep in mind, this review is coming from a Taco Bell fanatic, possibly one of the most frequent visitors at this location. Now, I love to visit Taco Bell to try out all of the new combos and entrees that they serve, but there are several things at this specific location that makes me want to make the trek out to another location for the quality I deserve. This location used to be convenient as it is housed right down the road from my place of living, but ever since the old Taco Bell closed next to White Castle on Lindbergh, the quality has only decreased. I have never been able to visit this Taco Bell without my order being altered in some way. One of the most memorable times was when I decided to splurge a bit and order the new $8 supreme box. I drove through the drive thru, got my Baja blast and drove off with my bag of food. Little did I know when I returned home, they had only given me a drink and nachos. For $8. $8! I immediately returned to the store and explained my situation, and was greeted with an employee who seemed not to care at this outrageous ordeal. I was given a refund, but forced to head to work with an empty stomach and an upset attitude. Another thing that grinds my gears is that at this location, almost everything is priced a dollar more than at other locations. When I see a commercial on TV for the new $5 box, and I see it is $6 at the store, it really makes the food taste that much worse. I feel like I'm being cheated, when I just want to get my double chalupa box for the price I've been looking forward to all week. So i pulled around the drive thru again where they had turned off all the lights and said they were closed due to a maintenance issue. I told him i had missed food with my order i just got and he said he looked it up and said that i had just gotten the cheesy gordita not the combo so i had gotten all the food i had ordered and there was nothing he could do plus i had payed for the gordita and drink making it more expensive than the combo. Guy in drive thru told us to move after 10 seconds and I told him what I was doing. He told me that I have to move NOW. Demanding me that it was busy. So we pulled out to a spot and found that 4 items were missing. I got out of my car and went to the door which was locked. Then walked by the drive thru window which had 13 cars in lane at that point. And the same guy said you HAVE to go thru drive thru with a car to get my items. I called the store 20X's with NO answer. I wasn't going to sit another 20-30 mins in drive thru and have what food I did have get cold. I went home and fed 80% of my household and made cereal for the other 20%.
