If I could negative star this place I would! The worst aldi I have ever shopped at, the employee's are nothing but rude & unwilling to help. & god forbid you're a different skin tone they will sterotype you to a T. It is disgusting, I grabbed a box after I was done checking out to put my groceries in & as I was doing so an employee abt 5'2 brown hair, came up and started taking items out of my box & saying "were these paid for" to which I showed her my receipt & asked "Can you not see all the items on this piece of paper?" to which she stood over me the entire time I was bagging up my items. The icing on the cake though was I had my coffee mug in the cart so I could drink it throughout shopping, and this was a older vintage glass/mug , the employee grabbed it from the cart & dropped it causing her to SHATTERED it, this employee shattered my mug from 2010 & just said "oops" like there was no "oh i'm so sorry" or anything close to an apology & after this happened I went to find a replacement & would you look at that they don't make them anymore! So all I have to say about this aldi's is it is the worst one around STL! If you can go to a different one, Kirkwood, Fenton, Des Peres, there is many aldi's around!! This one is just horrible, though if you want to be hovered over & have your valuables broken go to this one! or if you would like to be stereotyped this is the one that will do so! This is a picture of the cup the employee broke & never even apologized for, so disappointing aldi. I will never be back to one after...

As we were nearing the checkout lane, (which had a pretty long line) we turned to the other direction, to just look in the refrigerator section. A worker then said, you know we close at 9, right? At this point, I really had no idea what time it was, (based our arrival time on a guess, based on this experience). I said, oh no, i had no idea, what time is it? I pulled out my phone to check the time, it was 9:02. I said, oh, it's two minutes after. To which he said, well, you had 12 hours to shop. We immediately turned to go to the checkout, where we proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. As I was looking around, there were at least 15 people browsing through the isles. Upon attempting to talk with the manager, who walked away from me multiple times, while I was trying to relay the rudeness of her worker, I couldn't believe how rude she was either. If we were the last ones in the store, and we were taking our sweet time, I would completely understand. I would never want to cause someone to stay later than necessary, but the way we were...
Read moreCompared to other Aldi in the area this one is by far the best! I’m always so impressed when I visit, however, today I was very disappointed to hear a rude comment from a worker towards one of their coworkers. The cashier, presumably newer, called over the radio to ask a question about using a gift card and when the lady who was stocking in the freezer area / seasonal items came over, she had an attitude with the new cashier saying “you should know this by now. “ In front of all the customers. She proceeded to walk away and laugh about something with one of the other coworkers in the seasonal aisle. That was very disrespectful, unprofessional, and very disappointing from a customer standpoint. It doesn’t take much to answer a question, to help, and to be kind. If it hadn’t been for the new cashier being so kind and polite, I would have said something to that rude associate because it was extremely hurtful and unnecessary. Love Aldi but this is not how people should treat each other especially in front of customers. I really hope this new employee/cashier feels welcomed by her...
