Looking into the accessibility for others, the first thing I noticed was that the doors do not have a button to make it accessible for those in wheelchairs, or people who have muscle disorders where they can not open the door by themself. There were a few spots for handicap parking, however, this portion of the parking lot was covered by the influx of people going through the drive-thru, so it was nearly impossible to park there in general. While in the establishment I noticed that their countertops had two levels to it. One level was lower than the other and wheelchair accessible. The same went for trashcans. I also ventured into the bathrooms which had wheelchair accessible stalls. However, if someone was taking care of an individual who was wheelchair bound, but still a young kid/adult, they did not have a changing station specifically for this situation. The sinks were accessible to all, and they had paper towels instead of blow dryers, which would be a little more guest friendly for those who have sensory disorders, autism, etc. Overall, I would say this establishment is semi-accessible, as they could do some work to make it more wheelchair accessible, as they open up to more customers for...
Read moreThis is my neighborhood Chick-fil-A and I think the 4-Star rating is because people in the area (including myself) have been acclimated to its poor quality and service. If Chick-fil-A has a ghetto version, "this be it". We recently took a long road trip and only eat at fast food joints we trust, mainly Chick-fil-A and Penn Station. EVERY Chick-fil-A location we stopped at (5 different locations total) wiped the floor with our Glenway location. The Chick-fil-A in Florence, KY reminded us why we like Chick-fil-A in the first place. Their food and service was near perfect. I realize the version of Chick-fil-A we have at the Glenway location is marginal at best, ghetto-ized at worst. Sad but true. And it appears to be a management issue (service and food). The staff act they don't want to be there, and on rare occasions do you get a fresh piece of chicken that doesn't taste like it's been sitting for a while because management doesn't want to throw it out to save a buck. Like eating rubber. Staff has attitudes unbecoming of what you should expect at Chick-fil-A. This store needs...
Read moreThe drive thru has become an absolute nightmare for anyone near this location from noon until about 3pm. I actually got an opportunity to get in line after a week or so of failed attempts. Line #1 was full, so I proceeded to line 2 and waited. A young man told me "you know this lane is closed right?" I told him there was no indication that it was closed as there was clearly a sign that showed the line splitting into 2. He made me leave line because "if I have you sit here you are gonna be here a while." I decide it isn't worth the hassle to line up down Glenway Avenue. As soon as I get my car through the obstacle course the attendant sent me through. I see 5 cars line up in the 2nd lane and he starts to take orders. I questioned him as I drove by and he yelled "I don't make the rules" at me. Never had a worse customer service at a chick fila in all my years of being a customer. Never again, unsafe drive thru and sub par customer service. We can go to any of the other places near by and get...
