Very disappointed. My boyfriend has been a frequent Cane’s customer for so many years. At one point where he ate Canes every day. He went through the drive through today purposely to get fries of all things, because I have a medical condition and needed salt because I was sick. He was not given a receipt. They shorted our food. Simple double fry order. When he called to ask the person on the phone, assuming a manager, asked for the receipt. When he told them he wasn’t given a receipt, he was asked who served him, and that the person would lose their job for not handing out receipts. Then told sorry no receipt no proof. Told to have a good day and dismissed. I have worked in restaurants. I have been a manager and this blows my mind. Especially when it was a simple basic and cheap order. There was no offer to come back.. no taking a name.. no trying to make it right. Of all things fries. How much does that cost your company? And I’ll remind you I have worked in the industry. I know things are comped all the time, but to not even try to fix a customers order that he paid for, is sad. He was robbed. My boyfriend was frantically trying to get something quick and easy to hurry back to fix my medical issue, and he was left hungry with no food. I had to eat my food in front of him because I really didn’t have a choice. That is a shame, because you lost a...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS CANES! Will never eat here again 🤮 Went through drive through ordered 2 box combos.
1st box combo: multiple hairs in food.
2nd box combo: due to this restaurants negligence food was to hot being placed in container. As you can see in photos chunks of styrofoam was burned through. Also see the multiple melted pieces of styrofoam in pictures. A piece of chicken attached to styrofoam and was consumed by costumer. Ended up in emergency room for multiple hours and multiple doctors appointments to undergo a procedure.
Not only am I disgusted by hair and styrofoam being in food, I kept the box with food and it’s been sitting on my counter for days. It hasn’t changed, no mold, no smell. Canes claims their food is “fresh, never-ever frozen premium chicken tenderloins” but food is the exact same for the...
Read moreThe restaurant was super crowded and I could not even find a place to sit. It is a very small dining room, even more so right after opening. I also had to park at the church next door, and it was a walk to get to the restaurant. There are limited options on the menu (would be nice to offer like a chicken tender sandwich or wrap), the fries were not very good, the chicken was sub-par and they have very little choices for sauce for the chicken (as far as I know, only canes sauce and honey mustard). On a good note however, the Texas toast was very good, and the staff was friendly. I also liked the fact that they had sports memorabilia from some of the local high school and college sports teams, as well as professional local sports teams. I hope eventually the crowd will die down and it will be easier to park and...
