gave it 1 star because I believe it falls short in so many areas. At night (anything past say 8pm) it seems there's always this I don't care attitude. OR when pulling up to the drive through window at or around say 12 or even as late as 1230am, Ill here things like this at the window. "sorry but our system is down" "we only have nuggets and fries because were cleaning our grill" "we cant break any large bills" Large bills being 10 dollar bills or higher lol. I could come up with more reasons for disliking this location however I believe ive made my point. I can see them not wanting to break a 100.00 bill for 10.00 worth of food or even 20.00. but when you have an order that comes in at 4 to 6 dollars and they cant break a 10? Or your order ends up being 18 to 24 dollars and they cant break a 50.00. I mean get real. How can you run a business? AS for pulling up to the drive through and them telling customers that there cleaning the grill at 12 or 1230 and can only serve fries or nuggets. That's just truly ridiculous. If someones pulling up to the window at say 5 minutes till close that's 1 thing. but a half or even a full hour? Come now. I hope the place gets better. In there defense they do a very good job during the day time and there food is great. Oh yes and 1 last thing. TO ALL THE WENDYS OUT THERE. Your hours generally vary by location. That said, rather than just stand there with dumb looks on your faces placing bets with your coworkers as to how long the missed customer will just sit and wait there at the window, Perhaps sense your there already, why not tell the person sitting there that the location is closed. Crazy idea I know. I personally know this to be a fact at 2 different locations not that long ago. Had a friend and a family member work at 2 different Wendy's, and they would place bets as to how long the person would stay and or make jokes at there expense. A little professionalism goes a long way. Even if it...
Read moreWent to my local Wendyâs at 5460 Northbend Road, in Cincinnati Ohio. I waited half an hour (with only 4 cars ahead of me) to get my order. I got the kids nugget meal, a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, and the jalapeño popper meal. When I got to the windows, the employees were joking and laughing. I sat there for a few minutes until someone finally took my cars so I could pay for my meal. Someone else said âhereâ and shoved the bags into my hand and closed the window. After I got my food (after a 16 hour shift at work) I went home. Jr bacon cheese burger was fine. The nuggets were spicy nuggets. My jalapeño popper meal was just a cheeseburger. I called the Wendyâs and it was busy. Called again after 5 minutes and it rang for 15 minutes without an answer. I let it keep ringing that long because I was getting angry about this, and just put my phone on speaker phone to see if they would ever pick up. I finally gave up and called the 800 number on the back of my receipt. There were 23 calls ahead of me. My wife then took the burger and recipes back to get me a replacement. Waited almost another half hour to get an annoyed response from the employees and they replaced the sandwich without an apology. When I got it, it looked like they just angrily threw the toppings on it. It was a mess and all over the wrapper. Iâm reaching out here because the Wendyâs here didnât seem interested in fixing this issue, and I wasnât going to wait for over 20 calls to be responded to on your 800 line before I could talk to someone. This experience was a disaster and I wonât be going back.
Now itâs been a week. Corporate said someone would be in touch with me. I have...
Read moreToo bad I cant rate less than one star. Well, to begin, the man taking my order asked me after 15 seconds of me saying "just a moment" to get my car-full of friends' orders if I was ready to order again, and that was annoying. Then, when I pulled to the window you PAY for this food at, the 12 year old wearing a spaghetti strap tank top with some sweaty, hairy ass armpits took my card and ran it FOR 5 MINUTES and then looked at me twisted when I asked for my receipt because that was sketchy. Then, at the next window, the innocent looking, bigger man who looked like the manager but was probably pushed around and walked on by the females who clearly made their own rules was making DRINKS. There was a car behind us at this point, so how am I to know those were my drinks? Some lady reached around outside from the inside next to the window to give us our bags and said have a good day. I yelled that I had drinks and that I STILL needed my receipt. She sarcastically instructed me to look in my bag for my receipt, then told me the bigger guy standing at the window was making our drinks. I continued to wait, and mean-mug everyone inside, and was handed my drinks without a word said, again. Not a greeting. Not a "thanks, bye," nothing. Just a "have a good day" before receiving my whole order, and a smartass "look in your bag sweetie and hes making your drinks." Now to my order. The fries had like no salt, they gave everyone the wrong drinks, it was just all the way around, a terrible experience. Just go...
