The Bodega — Restaurant in Greencastle

Love this little market and the cozy, inviting vibe! "Your local grab and go" is their tag line, but don't think this is a run-of-the-mill convenience store! They feature premium and unique items, many of which are locally sourced. We stopped in on a Saturday morning with plans to try their newly featured bagels, and I was intrigued and excited to try one with the smoked white fish spread. Unfortunately, they were sold out by the time we arrived (it's a popular spot, and many fan favorites go quickly, so arrive early!), so we went with the sausage/egg/cheese/dijonnaise/curry ketchup breakfast sando on English muffin and lemon and lavender scone. O...M....G!!!! It was absolutely AMAZING!!! Not sure where they sourced the sausage, but the flavor and spice were ON POINT, and the combination of that with the other sandwich components and the English muffin created a mouthful of heaven! The lemon lavender scone was scrumptious as well; it had a delicious flavor and crumbly, fluffy goodness! The Bodega will definitely be one of our common stops when visiting...

Very nice small environment offering unique food, drinks, and gifts. It was my first time, and I really enjoyed the ham sandwich. The sweet snack was very tasty, a caramel, expresso rice crispy. The drink selection is varied and excellent for the person looking for a change, I purchased cold, Ginger Teramec tea. I also purchased a "Whisk" shirt for my friend. She loved it.

My next visit, I plan to purchase some olives.

We support local entrepreneurs and the owners, Joel and Tash, owners of the Whisk bar have done an outstanding job in taking their dream and expanding it to include the people of Greencastle and other nearby cities.

Just got a sausage egg sandwich and a coffee from The Bodega. My sandwich was amazing- no surprise there. I love how there’s always extra flavor in there than just a regular old sandwich. BUT today was the first day I got a coffee. I usually pass because it’s in a thermos but I kid you not… this coffee is the best in town, easily. Every time I go in there they have new products and new features- just keeps getting...
