Let me start by saying that I understand this is a new location and there will most likely be some hiccups in the first couple months. I hope that my next visit is a better experience, but this first one really wasn't unfortunately.
The restaurant itself was clean and modern. The staff were very nice. I went in around 6:30pm on a Sunday. It was moderately busy during my visit. There was only one employee on the line and she seemed like she could use another set of hands.
I wanted to get my usual carnitas bowl, but the meat looked dry and leftover. I didn't spot any new carnitas coming up, so I opted for chicken. There was no pico de gallo. Considering they had 4 more hours left, I'm surprised they ran out of a staple ingredient. I wish I realized earlier because I don't enjoy my bowl much without it. There was no romaine lettuce either.
I ordered two bowls, a kids cheese quesadilla meal (with chips), a side of guacamole, and a large bag of chips. I had a perk for free guacamole. I scanned the code and then the person working the register asked me questions about it. "Did I already get the guacamole? What size is it for?" I found this to be really confusing. They should know these details.
When I got home, I was disappointed to see that my bags did not include the kids chips and the large chips. I assumed he put them in the large food bags while I was paying. Apparently not. I find it weird that no one noticed the chip bags left behind on the counter. I could have easily been called over before leaving...
The guacamole was bright green but had almost no flavor. I added my own spices at home. Luckily we had some tortilla chips to make up for the missing chipotle ones, but they weren't chipotle chips that I paid for. Our burrito bowls had decent portions which is appreciated. My son's quesadilla wasn't heated up enough so it was stringy chunks of almost-melted cheese inside the cold tortilla. Hopefully they get into more of a groove and things won't be this...

When I got home and opened my tacos, they looked like one big mess—almost like a poorly made burrito instead of three separate tacos. I drove back to the store and showed them the order. Two employees looked confused, while another had an attitude with me. After cleaning up the mess, they confirmed it was supposed to be three tacos, but they still looked like a sloppily made burrito. I asked for a refund since the order was unacceptable and I had already made the trip back, but I was told refunds must be handled through the app. The employee who made the original order became visibly upset with me, even though I remained polite. I then asked for a remake, which one woman started to handle, while another continued to argue with me in front of other customers. I returned the entire order, and as I was leaving, they claimed there were no chips in the bag. This was not true, as I had seen them place chips on the counter. Eventually they gave me the chips, but the experience was extremely frustrating. This was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The way the employees spoke about me openly in front of other customers was unacceptable. Read moreI dined here during their opening week and had a mediocre and small burrito. I decided not to leave a review because it was their first week open.
I tried going back on Sunday, May 25th at 9:20 pm, but when I got inside, they had pulled all of the pans out but were still taking orders. There were two people ahead of me being served, and 5 in line behind me. Another large group (5+) was just walking in from the parking lot.
I ordered a burrito, only to be told they they were out of white rice and black beans. I didn't see what else they were out of (or just refusing to prepare) because I left after learning about the beans.
Simple, unforced error trying to shut down the line 40 minutes before closing time. It's like they don't want to succeed. I will not return to this location even though it is close to me.
I was excited for this new convenient location, but am furious at Chipotle for how they allow this store to be run. I hope this is a different franchisee than the other locations. With all of the corners they are cutting, I have zero faith in them to safely serve food here.
Whoever manages this location should be ashamed...
