Gas-Lite West — Restaurant in Greenfield

This is your typical corner bar with not a lot going on. They have a bar top with about 20 bar stools around it. It does have a decent amount of tables around the bar with a few seats for people to sit at each table. They also have a little step up stage with room for maybe a small band. They have a few tvs around the bar with whatever sports games going on. They have 5 slot machines a pool table and darts. I didn't notice any food but maybe they have something like frozen pizza. I'm new to the area & was looking for a new neighborhood bar to attend. It's very much a small group of regulars in there. I almost felt like I was invading a private party. One side of the bar is way too close to the wall and impossible to get to your chair without everyone on that side get up & let you out. The bartender was polite but didn't do much to engage me in conversation to make me feel comfortable and break the ice to initiate conversation with other guests. This bar is fairly small, but has an "at home" feel about it. The bartender is very friendly, and there is enough going on there to keep you entertained. Pool is only 75 cents. My roommate and I live down the road a little bit, so it is only 2 minutes away.
