My daughter wanted to come here to kick off her bday week since she’s never been and based on the experience I had in Vegas which was amazing.
Never ever will we dine here again. The host at the front door was very welcoming & nice. It only took about 10-15 mins to be seated. Pretty good timing! How waitress Jayline came and introduced herself as our server everything was cool. Given my daughter or niece has never been here we took time to view the menu before deciding what to order. We placed an order for appetizers & order entrees at the same time. My salad came out first and it wasn’t that tasty but it was okay. Good timing as well. Following that our appetizers came out and entrees not too long after. Our waitress was fine until we started eating. I don’t know she was mad that I asked to order an additional of loaded mashed potatoes no bacon for my 8 month old but her attitude became so nasty for no reason. As we were eating instead of her helping others she decided to stand there and stare at us while we were eating, then she kept coming to the table trying to take our food that we were not done eating yet away & literally trying to rush us out. Then she came back for the tenth time to ask how we were paying for the bill and when I said card she rudely put the machine in my face assuming I didnt already know how to pay when the machine was sitting in front of me the entire time I was at the table and again this was not my first time here but it’s her tone and rudeness that got me because again we literally did nothing to her. After that I decided to ask for the manager and oh why did I do that. He introduced hisself in a nice way but after I explained to him what my daughters, niece and I experienced with Jayline rudeness and anger he acted as if he was so disappointed yet when he walked away we literally observed him walking towards Jayline because she stood right in the door way listening to what I was explaining to him. For this to be a manger is concerning considering this is customer service and it was poorly executed during our experience. He literally disregarded the experience we had and again this was for my daughter bday celebration start. I’m glad to know the manager and his staff found us having a negative experience was so funny. They poorly represented Outback and I hope no one else has a similar experience with Jaylin and a manager who supports poor customer service. I can’t remember his name but both are pictured here. I hope Jaylin is re-taught what consistency looks like when providing customer service while working in the customer service field. Having a stale face and nasty attitude is uncalled for and...
Read moreMy fiance and I were excited to have a date night considering we haven't seen each other in over a week. We found a gift card for Outback so we decided to have a steak night. We normally go to Longhorn but figured it couldn't be much different. Wow were we wrong. After waiting 25 minutes to be seated, (which we understood because it was not only Saturday at peak dinner time, but prom was happening all around) we were greeted by our server right away. He seemed friendly enough and even showed me the friendly feature to my drink. We ordered an appetizer which was pretty good, were given bread which I feel is a waste. Maybe ask if the table wants bread before just giving it because it just sat there and took up space at our table. I ordered a filet that came with 2 sides and asked for loaded baked potato soup and a loaded baked potato. When the food came I got a plate with my filet, a loaded baked potato and loaded mashed potatoes but no soup. When I mentioned it to the girl who brought the food she said "I'll get your server and we can talk about it". My fiance's order was correct, just nothing to get excited about. Our server brought out the soup and apologized but the soup was cold. At that point my fiance asked for another drink. We finished our meal while we watched 2 male managers on the floor touching tables but never came to ours. My finance's 2nd drink came when we were ready to leave. I'm glad we had the gift card because if we had to spend $120 of our money I would have made sure to speak to a manager. This meal was NOT worth the money at all. I'm not one to normally do these but as a manager, I felt a bit disrespected by the 2 managers making rounds without even acknowledging us. I wanted to tell someone of our experience just to help them improve, but either way we will not be returning. This was a very...
Read moreI typically do NOT do chain restaurants, but the fiancé wanted to try the baked potato soup..... The food overall was not my favorite per say and the soup turned out to be a disappointment for him but what does get an overall 5 star on this place is the fact that they hired some Prime A staff..... so when we first arrived, we were greeted and seated IMMEDIATELY (super friendly host staff) upon being seated the waitress (Amanda) came over to introduce herself and warn us about the short staff and kitchen wait (MUCH APPRECIATED- as some establishments really don't care to inform you of this UNTIL there is a complaint) Apps came out superfast, and I'm not sure if the manager noticed that we did not eat the soup or she just came by to introduce herself but this manager (Brenda) was sweeter then pie! She asked us how was everything, made sure to remove the soup from the bill, and have small talk then asked if we had any allergies.... We then proceeded to eat our main entrees (wings and the Kingsland Streak & Shrimp pasta) which i rather enjoyed especially because they were able to add extra vegetables to the dish that were not originally in the ingredients...
Shortly after dinner Brenda personally brought us out her favorite dessert on the menu (TimTam Brownie Cake) on the house and proceeded to tell us how its made and what exactly was in it.
This individual was so sweet and sincere that it made our night to see someone so dedicated to putting smiles on people's faces.... For that reason alone I was sold!
Nothing beats STELLAR service even when things are not completely stellar ;)
Brenda and Amanda!!!! Brava to being great employees/management and knowing how to display TRUE...
