When I walked into this beautiful, quaint yet modern cafe, I saw the "Fried Chicken" from the corner of my eyes. Growing up, my family owned a restaurant. I loved the Chinese food that I had, from the Sichuan noodle to the Beijing Duck. At my restaurant, I regularly ate fried chicken. When I saw a new tea cafe had opened in Greensboro, I eagerly visited MasterTea. I knew I had to order the "Fried Chicken" and the "Sunset Nada."

If I were to only rate the "Sunset Nada," a collection of mango smoothie, raspberry tea, and mango jelly, I would've given this restaurant a five stars rating for the delicious sweetness of the smoothie and the swift service! However, maybe I had too high of an expectation for the "Fried Chicken."

Soon, the "Fried Chicken" came out hot and ready. Steaming with fresh smoke, the meat looked juicy and ready-to-eat. Then I picked up the hot chicken with my two hands. As I bit into the wing, I loved the light batter, but I felt no juice coming out. Staring at the food in confusion, I bit again. Why was there no juice or taste of anything in the wing? I felt the lack of seasoning , maybe even no seasoning. I continued to dip the chicken wings into the sweet and sour sauce, to see if the sauce could even salvage the lack of seasoning in the chicken. But the sweet and sour sauce couldn't save the chicken. I know that when fried chicken isn't "finger-licking-good," then the chicken isn't good.

I'm being merciful and lenient here, without that "Sunset Nada" drink, I would've been much more strict on the rating. I could've went to TeaTime also. It's unfortunate that the chicken was bland.

Please, for my sake and the sake of chicken lovers out there, put some seasoning into...

This place is honestly the best place to hang out in Greensboro, 10/10 would recommend. Great music and great atmosphere, has lots of fun games, I love coming here! The place opens 11am - 9pm on Sundays through Thursdays then 11am - 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The kitchen closes at 8:30pm on Sundays- Thursdays and the kitchen closes at 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The employees give you your food and drinks by calling out your order number on the receipt given to you so make sure you keep track of the numbers they call out and go up to them to tell them it is your order when its called. Some drinks are sealed by a machine so if you want to add other toppings or ice later on, tell them before they seal your drink or while you order it. MasterTea has a variety of snacks and great pho. When it is busy, the food might take a while but it is worth the wait. There are trashcans in the front by the light up bubble water wall so you can clean up your own messes. There's also a cool chalkboard wall here too! Everyone in town should come but there's lots of items on the menu so look over the menu on their Facebook page before coming, so you know what you're going to order. Everything here is amazing! The popcorn...

I went here before pandemic and I am not going here anymore. there were 4-5 employees at register and made me very confused. I started to order, then, a guys beside of one of the employee asked me toppings or other extras. so I thought he was taking my order, but then , the one who was already taking my order was starting to ask me questions. and 2 more people on the back were looking at me orderring (?). i dont understand why there were so many people at the register and why one person just cannot finish taking order. and the girl who was taking my order was so rude. I dont know why she was so full of arrogance and looked down on me when she was takig order. I felt like i am her servant and she was a boss. she was kinda starring me and saying thigns before I even finish up my words. I know these are young guys and dont have much experience dealing with people. but their immatured skills leads to poor service and that will make customer never going back there. they need to be more trained and they have to know that 'they' are serving customers and be nice to people so people can go back. isnt it sad if you are losing customers because of bad service that employees give? even though the foods and...

This was my first time at MasterTea Cafe & Bites. My son asked for boba tea and I Googled the nearest location and this was where we were directed. The atmosphere is all about socializing in a relaxing and inviting space. Airy and beautiful. We came for the bobas but I got a couple of “bites” too. My son got a mango milk slushie with boba and I had the Thai milk tea with boba. I also order a serving of Cheesesteak Rolls that comes with two and I ordered Crab Rangoons. My son loved his Mango Milk Slush. I was pleased with the flavor of my Thai milk tea, not an abundance of spice, but enough to discern that it was Thai Tea. And as this was my first time experiencing boba and I’m very much a texture girl, I’ve decided that I’ll pass on the boba next time. The Cheesesteak Roll/beef and Crab Rangoons were hot and delicious! The beef was tender in the rolls and shells perfectly crispy. The sizing was comparable to a spring roll than an egg roll. The rangoons had a creamy cheese consistency that my son loved and heavier chunks of onions, but the light and crispy fried wonton shell was amazing! We devoured those before thinking to take pictures. Maybe next time, smh… This was a nice Saturday afternoon treat.

Went today, pretty sure they are using black sugar tapioca pearls not the commercial brown sugar pearls that I am used to getting at boba shops. There is a distinctive aftertaste that you get with the quick black sugar tapioca. Not a big fan of it. The strawberry milk tea is quite literally strawberry purée and milk. The avocado smoothie was pretty good and probably would have been more enjoyable if the straws were big enough for the pearls. We were having trouble getting the boba as they kept getting stuck in the straws. Overall: fair customer service, cleanliness of the establishment could be improved (as I have seen this place in a better condition), drinks were mediocre with highlight on the avocado smoothie which was good, and the drink prices were normal with market price in boba shops at the current moment.

Arrived 12:33 pm. Ordered the classic milk tea and got it right away. Also ordered the vermicelli salad bowl with pork. The restroom smelled nice and only has one toilet, it's only available to customers. The atmosphere is nice. It's a good place for meeting friends and playing board games. You pay when you order. They brought out the food around 12:44 pm on a tray. All the cutlery is disposable, which you throw away when you are done with your food. Milk tea - Sweet like it should be. Ice is filled about halfway and boba is nice and chewy. Vermicelli Salad Bowl - Everything is good the pork is different from what I’m used to.
