While I can’t speak to the food as I did not receive any, I can however speak about one staff member’s extremely unprofessional attitude. I was in town from the West coast and was so looking forward to a Bojangles biscuit, of which I only get one every few years due to having none where we are. I showed up shortly after they were supposed to be open at 5 am. I drove up to the speaker to order and was met with silence. I waited at a minute and then politely said, “Good morning”. No answer. I let another 15 seconds go by and then said “Are you guys open”, again, very politely. I know it’s early and they’re most likely short staffed like so many other fast food places in the area. Again, no answer. I then drove to the window and sat for about 10 seconds before a tall fellow came to the window, opened it, clearly bothered that I was there at all, and said, “We open at 6”. I responded, “Oh, the sign says 5”, while looking puzzled. Bear in mind, the window he opened said 5:00 A.M. for the opening time. He said, “Look, there’s just two of us here”. I responded, Ok, that’s fine, but why did you let me just sit there? Couldn’t you acknowledge me and tell me that over the speaker”? I got no verbal response except for a look that told me that I was stupid for thinking that this place should be open or that I should dare ask him if they were open. He then proceeded to stand up and shut the window with no response and walked away. I wasn’t expecting much out of my dude through experience, but I was frustrated at his actions and his overall demeanor towards what would’ve been a paying customer. I went across town. Another store was open and I got my biscies though and was thoroughly happy. I’ll be back to North Carolina in a few years for more Bojangles, but probably not from this...
Read moreMaybe the a.m. manager has to micromanage her employees but not the patrons. For years I frequently visited Bojangles at 3737 Gate City Blvd Greensboro NC and enjoyed their food and Veterans discount, they even have Veterans parking. They still have Veterans parking but no longer a discount on the Veterans entire order, or just my order? After the manager closely examined (held) my NC ID with Veterans clearly written on it she told me that she would "let you have the discount this time (on my four sandwiches), but the next time on only your sandwich". She assumed they weren't all for me. It didn't matter if they were for me or not all I knew was that she had made a change with the discount I had enjoyed for years at that establishment to my displeasure. Afterwards I asked when did this new rule take place, or was it in writing or was it her rule? I paid for the food. I noticed her unfriendly demeanor as I came to that restaurant several times. Today she decided to extend that unfriendliness to me. After she gave me a 10 percent discount on the lowest cost sandwich and not the entire order. After arriving home I was upset about the way I was treated including but not limited to, the new unwritten rule. I returned the food inside the restaurant and received a full refund. Maybe I'll go back, but I have other choices. Biscuitville wasn't too far away! They don't have the discount but that's ok, I can count on a...
Read moreI have a Mobility disability. Their app doesn't have a drive-thru option so I chose the curbside pickup. It was taking a while for my order to be brought out to me after selecting "I'm here." I called to see if I could come through the drive-thru to pick up my order. The girl who answered the phone told me I would need to come in. I advised her of my mobility issues and that I had a curbside order. She asked for my name several times and I heard laughter in the background every time she asked. I became very upset and frustrated and told her I didn't want to bother them so I'll come in and pick up my order. It hadn't even been made yet. One of the workers completely ignored me so I assume she was the one who answered the phone. She had nothing covering her long dreadlocks and she was swinging it around. One worker asked my name and began to walk around looking for my order. She never found it but also didn't attempt to make it. Another worker asked for my name and the receipt was lying on the counter. She began to fulfill my order as I'm standing there in pain from having to stand so long. Bojangles should be ashamed as a company to have your name associated with that location. The girls were all wearing tight leggings and one of the guys had on sweatpants hanging off his butt showing his underwear. If this is how Bojangles is representing themselves...
