There's a McDonald's that's also open 24-Hours right up the road from where we live; So it takes less than 5-Minutes for me to get there. However, I'd much rather drive a 10-15 Extra Minutes to this specific location because The Service I receive there is OUTSTANDING; Especially compared to the Location that's close enough to my Home, I could literally walk there in just a few minutes... EVEN AT 4:30AM IN THE MORNING! I tend to order Upwards of $40.00 worth of food (Sometimes A LOT MORE when we have Friends & Family over)! The Friendly & Accurate Service I receive is DEFINITELY worth driving the extra distance! I mean... I GET IT; Mistakes Happen! I worked in The Fast Food Industry while attending University & My Daughter was actually "A Shift Lead/Manager" at McDonalds back when we lived in South Carolina. She & I both agree that anytime we had a large order via Drive-Thru, We'd Double Check to make sure The Customer received everything they ordered. Unfortunately, NO ONE is "Perfect" & Mistakes do happen, but it's HOW those "Accidental Mistakes" are handled. (Unless things have Dramatically Changed over the past year, Isn't "The Customer Always Right" in most 'Retail/Restaurant Businesses?') Again... Personally, I would never argue with a Customer if they took the time to come back through the Line to say they ordered 2-McDoubles without Onions & yet the 2 they got had Onions on them... Even after Covid hit & Dinning Rooms opened back up; I was under the impression that Employees should not take back anything through the Window. (My Daughter says she even got fussed at for simply taking a closed bottle of Soda from a Customer who asked if she could throw it in the trash!) At the Location closest to where I live, An Employee DEMANDED that I give him back all 3-Bags of Food so he could check for himself! He stood there; Unwrapped Each Sandwhich; Lifted the top bun up to see exactly what all was on it; Wrapped it back up & Threw it back into the same bag... ALL WITH BARE HANDS! _Evidently he was determined to prove me wrong, but it didn't happen. Since I'd just seen him take CASH (One of the Dirtiest Objects around; As it passes through hands all the time!) from the Customer ahead of me & not once did he wash his hands; I asked to speak to a Manager! Imagine My Surprise when he looked down at me with his Blood-Shot, Squeenched Eyes & said, "I AM the Manager Bro!" After he copped an Even Bigger Aditude when I asked for A Refund; I Politely reminded him that he had A BLUNT BEHIND HIS EAR before I "Cut My Losses" & Pulled Off!!! At THIS LOCATION, Employees seem to actually WANT to be there! (Even if it is JUST FOR the paycheck! LOL!) Eventhough I had a big Order, EVERYTHING was Bagged up & ready to go by the time I paid with my card! If I remember correctly, The Lady's name who gave me everything at the Window was NIKI. Niki was Super Nice & DEFINITELY knew Exactly how to "Walk That Very Fine Line" between being Very Professional & Extremely Friendly! As many of us tend to do nowadays, after pulling out of the line; I stopped real quick to check the bags to ensure everything was there. & In This Case (As is Normal for THIS LOCATION); EVERYTHING WAS SPOT-ON! The food was STILL nice & warm by the time I drove 19-Minutes home. & Since that was almost 24-Hours ago & I can still remember the Smile on Niki's face... I'd say that Dang'Good Service!!! As for me & my Family, We will ALWAYS drive the few Extra Miles to...
Read moreI knew exactly what I wanted to order and it’s always fresh at the McDonald’s on West Market. Ordered the fish sandwich meal with a bottled water, arrived at the first window to pay, paid for additional sauce and proceeded to the 2nd window. Drive-thru cashier informed me that the fish sandwich was “still cooking” and told me to pull to the 3rd window. 10 minutes later, another employee comes to the window with the incorrect order. She then takes the order to the “mobile app ordering parking”. Within the mist of waiting, employees are delivering wrong orders to the mobile app customers and are bringing the food back in the store, while customers are getting refunds from their cars. After 10 more minutes, the same cashier that told me to pull to the 3rd window comes to the window with my order. Informing her that I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes, her response was “I know, we put a large fry in their” and walks away back to the 2nd window. Immediately calling the store, I asked the male who answered could I have the district managers name and email. He then proceeds to tell me to hold on. I hear him tell someone about my request, the phone hangs up seconds later. After calling back, I spoke to the shift manager Jamie, who was very unwelcoming to my situation. After I also asked her for the district managers correspondence, she stops me while I’m talking and says, “I cant do that, call back in the morning and speak to Heather”. No apology for the cold food or empathy for the 20 minute wait. The 20 minute wait went in vain, because the food wasn’t remotely hot. Being uneasy about the food and wrong orders going out, I had a feeling my order was given to the wrong person so I through it away and just drunk the bottled water. $7.68 gone down the drain. Check the photos, if the order was hot and made to order, the cheese wouldn’t be melted and stuck. Food also slapped on as in a hurry, the commercials look NOTHING like this. I’ll continue to go to the West Market...
Read moreI came here at 2:45 am for an Uber eats order. That I waited a whole hour for but never received. I waited so long because first and foremost at the intercom where they take your order I asked did they have the order just so I wouldn’t waste time and the guy on the headset checked and told me yes to pull to the second window. To then get to the second window and be pulled to the third window because “it wasn’t ready”. They was busy and the long was long so I figured that was the reason it was taking so long but I realized cars behind me was getting there stuff so it didn’t make sense that I wasn’t. I told my husband (he rides with sometime for safety) to walk back to the second window and check on the order because I wasn’t about to drive around and wait in the long line again. Just for the big fro having guy to tell him they system down. So i decided to go to the second window myself to confirm what my husband said and to ask if they system is down at what point was someone going to come to that third window and let me know. The original lady that pulled me to the third window chimed in and proceeded to act as if she didn’t remember pulling me and then another black lady or man/stud helped out trying to justify their actions by saying we don’t take DoorDash and Uber order between 3 & 4 am trying to be so smart but really sounding dumb considering I didn’t come between those hours I got the order itself around 230 and arrived at 245 i asked for their names. The fro guy said his name was John p I doubt that’s his name though so I took pictures because the staff needs to be held accountable they suck and it could of been simple to just say we stopped making those orders early instead of pulling me and acting like they...
