IMMA KEEP IT REAL: If you do not have the patience of a SAINT, keep pushing lol but it's definitely worth the wait!! I suggest calling your order in about an hour before you want to pick it up, and have about 15 minutes to wait when you pull up. im not exaggerating. PARKING IS GOING TO BE NONEXISTENT; you might find a spot right in front, you might have to risk parking somewhere you have no business parking. but if it's after 5pm, you shouldn't have to worry about UNCG parking services frfr. From my observation, there are only TWO individuals running things, and they work hard to keep things moving! I've been a couple times since they opened on UNCG's campus, and the food has been GOOD and the service has been pleasent. I got a combo (about $16) that came with fried whiting, wingettes, two sides, and bread. I got my wings naked with the godmother sauce (kind of like sweet heat, but really not spicy). I got collards (vegetarian friendly), yams, and added on a side of mac & cheese. The fish was BOMB; fresh, hot, and beautiful. The wings were pretty good too. The yams were excellent; not too sweet. I was not a huge fan of the greens but I added a little hot sauce and they were okay; probably would not order them again. The mac & cheese was decent, I just prefer it to be a bit creamier, but it's not EGGY. THE PASSION PUNCH. If they have it, GET IT. That is crack in a container fr. I will be going back for their food but I will be mindful to call the food order in next time due to how long it took to get the food. Although the food was fresh & delicious, I believe that they can still do a better job with the time in preparing meals. It could be because of short staffing because I did read a sign stating apply/hiring now so I wont hold them to that. The customer service was ok. There's plenty of room for improvement there. The lady that served me seemed a little aggressive although she was friendly. Not the typical restaurant to dine in but I was ok with that due to being already prepared to take food home anyway. I really enjoyed my chicken wings and the mac & cheese. It was the best soul food that I had taste in a while in Greensboro, NC and their prices were reasonable. I enjoyed their cornbread too. The food is good. I enjoyed the food a lot. Fish is great. Wings were delicious. Loved the yams and Mac and cheese. The issue is the service. First attempt failed, phone kept hanging up although I did get the voicemail once. Couldn't order through Postmates, it said they were too busy. Okay. Understanding. 2nd time ordered was placed I got the food from Postmates. Order was fine, food was good. Third time was not good at all. It came off as I'm an inconvenience to them because I did a post mates order. My post mates driver called me and said he's talking with someone now saying it may take 1hr or 2hrs to get my food. That's fine. I knew that going in. 5 mins later he called again, saying some stuff I ordered wasnt even on the menu(I could hear them, he called me while he was in the restaurant) and basically said I need to cancel.

I get places get busy, especially for take out with Covid 19 but man. Its tough when you come off as a inconvenience...
