Many people I know have told me that this restaurant was a must try for fine dining. So when my son-in-law's birthday was coming up I thought this would be a great place to take him as he was a big fan as well. I must say I was not really impressed with the overall product for the price point. Maybe they had a rough day that day. Things happen. My wife and daughter got the Surf n Turf macaroni and cheese. My daughter isn't a fan of shrimp so she asked the waitress if she could substitute shrimp for a chicken breast. The waitress came back at first and said the chef said he couldn't because he was too busy. Now this is despite that their menu gives you the option to add a chicken breast to anything for a cost. After pressing a tad they agreed. The dish comes out and theirs shrimp and chicken. Not steak and chicken as requested. Now we are reasonable people but in a fine dining establishment. This is unacceptable. Especially when the dish is 40 dollars. But it doesn't even end there. The cheese sauce in both my wife's and daughter dish was soup and watery and lacked flavor. The wait staff was amazing and did their best. Even brought out 2 cups on now correct flavorful sauce. Not watery at all. But at that point we were pretty much done eating. My son in law had a great meal so that was great. I got the tomahawk pork chop. It was only ok. The pork was good but not as tender as i would have expected for this level of dining but was acceptable. The appetizers were great. Which is why the rating is 3 stars and not 2. Might give them another try but I'm a very careful consumer. And alot of money was spent but without that amazing experience that everyone talked about.
