I spent an afternoon in Greensburg, hosted by @Laurel Highlands, including lunch at J. Corks. This is a popular Greensburg spot, and I’m glad that getting to do activities with Go Laurel Highlands introduced me to this great restaurant. I was there exploring the Laurel Highlands with a group of other content creators. Soon enough, our table was covered with appetizers and main courses. My favorites were the calamari with sweet Thai chili sauce, wild mushroom bruschetta, and my main course, the Teddy KGBLT sandwich, which is a combination of a Reuben, Rachel, BLT, and breakfast sandwich all into one amazing creation. J Corks was a great stop on our visit to explore Greensburg. 📍J. Corks 25 E Pittsburgh St Greensburg, PA #golaurelhighlands #greensburg #visitpa #food #restaurants

Many people I know have told me that this restaurant was a must try for fine dining. So when my son-in-law's birthday was coming up I thought this would be a great place to take him as he was a big fan as well. I must say I was not really impressed with the overall product for the price point. Maybe they had a rough day that day. Things happen. My wife and daughter got the Surf n Turf macaroni and cheese. My daughter isn't a fan of shrimp so she asked the waitress if she could substitute shrimp for a chicken breast. The waitress came back at first and said the chef said he couldn't because he was too busy. Now this is despite that their menu gives you the option to add a chicken breast to anything for a cost. After pressing a tad they agreed. The dish comes out and theirs shrimp and chicken. Not steak and chicken as requested. Now we are reasonable people but in a fine dining establishment. This is unacceptable. Especially when the dish is 40 dollars. But it doesn't even end there. The cheese sauce in both my wife's and daughter dish was soup and watery and lacked flavor. The wait staff was amazing and did their best. Even brought out 2 cups on now correct flavorful sauce. Not watery at all. But at that point we were pretty much done eating. My son in law had a great meal so that was great. I got the tomahawk pork chop. It was only ok. The pork was good but not as tender as i would have expected for this level of dining but was acceptable. The appetizers were great. Which is why the rating is 3 stars and not 2. Might give them another try but I'm a very careful consumer. And alot of money was spent but without that amazing experience that everyone talked about.

5 Stars – Perfect All Around J. Corks quickly became one of our favorites after our first visit, and our second visit only confirmed it. Everything about this restaurant shines: the warm, inviting atmosphere, exceptional food, and top-notch service. On our first visit (our anniversary), our server Grace was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and full of helpful suggestions. She even surprised us with a complimentary dessert topped with a candle, making an already special evening even more memorable. On our second visit (September 2025), the experience was just as exceptional from start to finish. The food was flawless on both occasions, and it’s now our go-to spot for high-end dinners and celebrations. We highly recommend J. Corks, and if you’re lucky enough to have Grace as your server, you’re in for a real treat.

Our experience was incredible. We were greeted by Lea at the door. Not only was she incredibly hospitable and welcoming, but she made quick work on getting us seated. She especially stood out to us that night. Normally a host is seen and gone, but Lea made a lasting impression with her beaming personality. As per Lea's reccomendation, we dined on the patio. The patio is a nice space, it could be a little more roomy but that is nothing but an afterthought. All of our needs were taken care of by Grace and food came out in no time. I would say my husband and I 'enjoyed' the Filet Mignon, but that is merely an understatement. It was cooked perfectly to temperature and paired amazing with the potatoes. I did pass the asparagus to my husband (personal preference) and he had nothing but great things to say. For such a simple dish, the kitchen prepared an explosion of taste and presented it in such ways that merely tease you as the plate is sat in front of you. The drinks were amazing as well. I've traveled all around the US for work and no other establishment has matched J Corks. It's to my hopes that my job brings me to Greensburg again, as J Corks is not only a restaurant, but a true experience for the mouth of the diner. We hope to see Lea and Grace again in...

It would of been nice, however they slipped. My husband called to make a reservation. Preferred to be outside if someone canceled, otherwise the reservation inside were made.

So, why did they not put his name in the book? They took my husband's name and was on the book on the page, I saw it. Did the receptionist forget to but his name for inside too? He took it that he made the reservation for 4. That was the conversation.

We had guest and wanted to share eating at JCorks. I myself with our New Neighbors of Greensburg Club have been there a couple of times. We have over 200 ladies of Greensburg area that are members. Yes, it was pleasant then. Only the mistake that they did then, they had the wrong dessert that was planned at that luncheon and they submitted something else without telling us. Some ladies were dissapointed.

So again disappointed, they should of did something for their mistake. I wouldn't have posted, but if the manager doesn't acknowlege the mistake of their employee, then something had to be said.

However my husband and our guest were able to go to the Westmoreland Country Club outside. They did a wonderful dinner for us. Thank goodness they rescued us and was so thankful of their...
