If you're looking to sell, stay far, far away from this place! The owner will "look up" how much an item has sold for recently on ebay, tell you he can only sell it for that much, lowball to 10% or less of that on his offer and then put it on his shelf higher than the highest current listings on ebay. (i.e. He'll tell you an item has only sold 1 in the last month for like $35 on ebay - without showing you this - and claim he can only sell it for that much, offer you maybe $5 and then put it on his shelf at $90 while the highest current ebay listing is at $85.) It's literally a worse value than GameStop trade-ins, and that's saying a lot.
I get trade-in and direct-sale value is going to be lower than ebay, but after seeing how much he priced items for that he told me were only going to sell for much, much lower (over 50% difference in many cases), I feel bullied, taken advantage of, and completely ripped off.
If you read this and think 'that's ok, I really need money so I'll take a really low offer' please keep in mind he may offer you an auction offer. This is even worse than selling to the store. I gave him items easily worth over $1000 (even at their lowest value) was told the auctioneer would keep 25% and after all that ended up collecting less than $100 total.
I get you want to make a living and run a business, but maybe scale back your operating costs or something because the way you're beating up customers on selling is not going to get them to come back to buy.
I gave two stars because the selection is decent (though I would check ebay for possible better prices before committing to buying anything here as the prices do skew high). Even with my complaints, I have to admit the...

Read moreI want to preface this by saying I am new to the comic collecting community. I am from Texas and happened to meet the owner, Jeremy, online through Whatnot. They have the most amazing livestreams, where they connect with their customers and the community. Check them out!
After the first few shows I watched, I reached out personally because they have an incredible collection of very high quality silver age comics. Jeremy had the book I was looking for and was just such a joy to work with. He provided me with detailed photos, information about the book that I would not have known had he not foreclosed it, and packaged it like it was the Declaration of Independence. These people are as transparent, fair, and passionate as they come and are great ambassadors to the hobby. I plan on visiting their store in...
