Hey there, neighbors, it's Dad again! So, I recently had the opportunity to check out Automatic Taco in downtown Greenville, SC, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! Now, I may not be Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor, but I can certainly appreciate a good taco, so let's dive in!
First off, let's talk about the atmosphere. Automatic Taco has this cool, industrial vibe going on that really sets the stage for a unique dining experience. It's like stepping into Dad's workshop, with exposed brick walls, metal accents, and an open kitchen where you can see the magic happen. It's a place where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy some seriously tasty tacos.
Speaking of tacos, let's get to the main event – the food! Automatic Taco serves up a variety of mouthwatering options that will make your taste buds scream! They offer both meat and vegetarian choices, so there's something for everyone. From their signature Korean BBQ taco to the classic carne asada, each bite is filled with flavor and made with quality ingredients. And let's not forget about the homemade salsas and sauces that add an extra punch to every taco. It's like adding a turbocharger to your meal!
Now, let's talk about the staff. Just like your uncle Al , the team at Automatic Taco is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to lend a hand. They're passionate about what they do, and it shows in their service. Whether you're a taco aficionado or a first-timer, they'll guide you through the menu, offer suggestions, and ensure you have a great dining experience. They're like the trusty sidekick you can always count on!
And let's not overlook the value for your money. Automatic Taco offers generous portions at reasonable prices, just like when Tim found a great tool deal at the hardware store. You can enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank, which is always a win in my book.
In conclusion, Automatic Taco in downtown Greenville, SC, is a must-visit for any taco lover. It's a place where the flavors are as bold as Dad's DIY projects, the atmosphere is as inviting as his neighborly spirit, and the staff is as dependable as Dad himself. So, grab your khakis and funky socks and head on over to Automatic Taco for a taco experience that's sure to leave you saying, "...
Read moreVery conflicted as there were good aspects and really horrible aspects. First I’ll say, every taco I got was good. I got the steak, shrimp, butter chicken, pork, and fish taco. Not as good as Willy taco, but overall decent tacos. The two issues were the wait time and the chips and queso. The wait time was about 40 minutes for tacos. There were tons of people working but seemed to have a bottle neck getting tacos out to people. This really wouldn’t make me take away two stars, not even one if all of the food was good. The chips and queso… this had to be probably the worst thing I’ve ever tried in my life LOL. The chips were so stale, they were painful to eat. The queso was like they took a bag of shredded cheese and blasted it on a skillet. It was so terrible and solidified in a minute. So, definitely avoid the chips and queso and any chips they offer. Also, be prepped to wait a long time for...
Read moreAutomatic Taco is in a food court area, where you can also get food from other places if you and friends want different places to eat at. There was plenty of free parking. This restaurant is also located along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. This is a relaxing place to bike or walk.
We ordered the Brussels sprouts side, green curry taco, and pork pastor taco. The Brussels sprouts side are delicious. They are loaded with other ingredients. Very tasty. The tacos were tasty also. The taco sizes are small, especially for the price. You couldn’t order one and be full. You would need at least two. It is not an “authentic” taco experience, but they have a variety of different types of tacos! This adds to the experience of being able to new flavors.
You can’t order cups for fountain drinks, just cans or bottles. There is also a water station...
