I had the pleasure of going to PKL park/sports bar today. I was really impressed with it all. It is based around the historic Mark V Recording Studios. There are 3 different places to eat there. The Kitchen, Coops Crazy Chicken, and Toastified. I had the pleasure of eating at The Kitchen. The wings were perfect. I also got the pretzel bites and frys. All were delicious. The service was exceptional, and prices were reasonable. Happy hour is 3-5. The entire complex is centered on pickle ball. They have 8 courts for rent at different rates for different times. Would recommend reservations on weekends. They have open free play from 11-1. Ben, who is in charge of events, was super helpful and friendly. He was very knowledgeable on the history of the old radio station and area. Abby was also very helpful and friendly. I am definitely going to visit this place frequently. All the hype and then some. Such a great place to hang out without just sitting around. Play some pickleball, cornhole, or ping pong. Eat some good food and watch a game.

The staff are all great - very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Everything is clean and well kept. The food is delicious and there’s a good selection of brews.

Can’t say enough good things about this place.

A few other details to note. Reserve a court on the app - PKL Park GVL Get there 10-15 mins early to check in at the pro shop. If you need help with anything the staff is happy to assist. They have pickleball paddles and balls in case you need them. They even have pickleball pros who teach lessons Can’t go wrong with a burger or Philly cheesesteak at The Kitchen, and get the fries.

It was a little chilly the day we were there but there are plenty of heaters to sit under and still enjoy the whole vibe.
