I don’t go writing reviews all the time but I was so blown away by the experience today I had to share.
I went to this branch in Winterville today like most of the town because of the charity event they we’re having. The line was through the door and I second guessed myself thinking I’d go somewhere else but the owner of the franchise was their who was an absolute pleasure. She had everyone in line smiling and mentioned that her daughter was working. I didn’t think nothing of it. I mentioned to her if I order online do you think I’d be out quicker thank waiting through the line she said don’t worry you’ll be out quicker than ordering online. I was glad she told me that because when I got up to the counter her daughter was moving at lightning speed. I’ve never seen someone make a sub that fast before in my entire life.
The best part of the whole experience was that with all the chaos going on with multiple online orders and the line out the door the quality of the food was amazing. My wife has had some health issues that prevents her from tasting like the average person. She never even finishes her meal most of the time. She’s also a marvelous cook. For her to tell me that’s the best sandwich she’s ever had in her life and eat every morsel tickled me. I can’t tell you how much I feel at home their go check them out you won’t be...
Read moreSub was fine but got unsweetened tea from the tea urn and a blob of black/brown crusty mess came out with the tea. Obviously caked up residue where the urn wasn't properly cleaned. I told one employee what happened and he offered me another cup. After saying no another immediately offered me another cup also. I politely asked why would I want to get more tea out of the same urn ? She said that "they" were supposed to have cleaned that last night and came to where I was at the urn. I showed her the stuff I had floating in my cup and she proceeded to pour some in her cup to look at. She offered me a bottled tea and I sat down and ate my meal. At no time was that urn removed or replaced. Before I left I saw another customer come in and fill their cup from the same disgusting urn. Omg it was unsweet....no sugar.....how much would they have lost to toss it ...clean the urn and put fresh in it? I was sitting in the dining room and they made no effort to correct this. If this is what happens in frot of the customers...what goes on that we don't see? Never again...not at this jersey...
Read moreI ordered a sub for dinner around 7pm and specifically asked for soft 🍞. I stated I didn't want flaky bread, and the remainder of the order process went well. When I arrived home, I was highly disappointed 😞 to discover hard, flaky 🍞.I called the following day to express my dissatisfaction, the female staff member told me to be mindful in the future the 🍞 will be like this in the evenings, and to come in today and the sub would be remade at no charge. Our conversation went well. I arrived at the store about 3 hours later and decreetly recalled the situation to the cashier. Then, another staff member told me he was aware, but I could only receive a 10% off coupon on my next order. I told him that wasn't what I was told, and he stated it was corporate policy, and I can call back again tomorrow, and basically, I shouldn't have ordered that time of evening. I walked out quietly but was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in how the situation...
