My husband and I had been running non stop yesterday since 6:45 am and this was our first opportunity for down town for the day! There were no other customers in line and we walked up to counter where the employee was and he did not even look up once or acknowledge us for several minutes. The girl that was working the counter did not even speak either until it was her turn to prepare our food and at the end of the order, all of our food was placed in a to go bag although we were going to eat there and ensure we left before their closing time (9:00 pm - we arrived at 8:15). I am pretty sure there was not one smile and there were definitely no pleasantries extended by any of the employees. I have only been to this location once before but we will never go back. Managers should inform employees that they are in a CUSTOMER SERVICE role and should try to look as if they are slightly happy to be working for...

Build-your-own approach to greek food. I've been here dozens of times now and it is always excellent. I recommend ignoring the menu and just getting a bowl with everything you want--price is just based on the protein you choose. Just point out what looks good. The employees working the front are always super fast, accurate, and courteous, so the line moves pretty fast.... if people don't take a long time deciding what they want.

I usually get a bowl with mixed greens, brown rice, lentils, spicy harissa chicken, all four grilled veggies, 2 scoops hummus, 1 scoop spicy harissa spread (which is AMAZING, it's basically Greek curry paste--super intense but so delicious), chickpeas, olives, and greek dressing on top. I'm not even sure if that combo is on the menu, but it's only about $12 for a large amount of super tasty, super nutritious, super filling food. Definitely the best quick dining place I've...

Kairos Mediterranean in Greenville is my favorite fast-casual spot for this sort of cuisine. Consistently fresh and delicious, friendly service, and those juices… 🥰 Their watermelon juice was especially refreshing on a scorching hot day like today.

You can find build-your-own pitas, bowls, salads, and platters with a variety of proteins, spreads, and toppings to choose from. If you have a hard time making such decisions (me 🙋‍♀️), you can order from their awesome Craveable Faves menu.

Their Recovery Bowl is my go-to, which is what you see here. It has chicken and meatballs served over lentils and brown rice with tzatziki, hummus, red pepper feta, grilled red peppers, chickpea salad, and feta cheese. Lots of food…it was totally a flavorful delight to my tastebuds without feeling like I needed to take a nap afterwards.

We need a spot like this in...

My hubby and I stopped in for lunch after church to grocery shop at Harris Teeter next door. This place is DELICIOUS. We tried 3 different things. The drink selection is great there is alot of different teas and the soda is organic. Everything is fresh and put togther in front of you. You can put things on the side. The meatballs tender and flavorful. Hubby got the lamb and it was well seasoned. The sauce are all good. But, you'll like one better than the other. Depends your taste if you like cream based or tomato based. It is a little confusing when you order the menu tells you what to choose from but, you'll see. Just try it you wont be sorry! It's a bunch of different things in a bowl but, it all just goes togther. Yummy!!!

Eating here was a positive experience. The portions were huge. A platter + a side of fries (roughly $16) was enough to feed two adults and a child. Most of the food was delicious (oh my goodness - those feta fries are good!). The only things that weren’t delicious were the falafel and the spicy harissa - those two items specifically were like a salty/sodium overload. Next time I’ll just order differently, but I will absolutely go here again.
