Brought my family here anticipating a satisfying meal and experience. Unfortunately, things went terribly wrong. The business was extremely slow. So I could not understand why our meals were brought out at different times. In fact, after they brought the sides for our fajitas dinners we never received the sizzling meats. After 10 minutes went by I went to look for our server to no avail. A woman approached offering assistance and I told her we never received the rest of the fajitas meals. A few minutes later they were brought to the table. My mother and I ordered the Chicken quesadillas both were dry as dust. I asked for the manager and she only took off for 1 of the meals and offered to cook another order. I said if they couldn't do it right the first time what difference would it have made. She said nothing. Then we got our bill, to find that we were charged an automatic Gratuity because there were 4 adults and 3 children. The gratuity was based on the entire food order even though 1 order was credited back. I went to the hostess station, to find that NO SIGNS were posted about charging this fee. This female said all businesses do this, I said they still have to post a sign advising customers of this policy. By the way I've been in the restaurant business for 15 years, and not every business practices this policy. I said I would make a complaint to corporate about the poor food, and customer service to which the female, I think the manager said, " we are a franchise and corporate has nothing to say or do, about our operations." Lastly, as we waited for our food we began to smell something foul in the air, I followed it to where the kitchen and bathrooms share a hallway and wafting from there was the smell of sewage. This was disgusting and should be regarded as a Health...

Ah, Tipsy Taco in the quaint town of Greenville, South Carolina, beckons to the discerning gastronome like a veritable sanctuary of authentic Mexican fare. As connoisseurs of such culinary delights, having resided in the culturally rich states of New Mexico, Arizona, and California, we approached this establishment with heightened expectations and a palate finely tuned to genuine Mexican flavors.

Imagine our delight when Tipsy Taco surpassed even our most exacting standards! Each dish presented was a symphony of vibrant and multifaceted flavors, perfectly balanced with an artful touch of spice—sufficient to tantalize the taste buds without overwhelming them. We partook in the chicken enchiladas, the Patron taco, churro beans and rice, and the birria chicken tacos, all of which were executed with an exquisite attention to detail and culinary finesse. Our repast was complemented by a selection of refreshing mocktails, which provided a delightful counterpoint to the robust flavors of our meal.

Particular mention must be made of our server, Milla, whose exemplary service and affable demeanor elevated our dining experience. Her attentiveness and cordiality were exemplary, enhancing the overall ambiance of our visit.

In summation, Tipsy Taco achieves a level of authenticity in its Mexican cuisine that is seldom found within the confines of a chain restaurant. It is with great enthusiasm that we declare our intention to become loyal patrons. Our gratitude extends to Tipsy Taco for a truly memorable...

The food was great, but the service was really bad. I had a burrito bowl and a blackberry smash and my husband had a burrito and a margarita flight. Portion sizes were huge and drinks were tasty. I had this long review written out but decided to just sum it up by saying the servers were not attentive at all and it really detracted from our overall experience. They all stood around looking angry at life, and in the case of one hostess, she walked away to hide in the back when a customer with two small kids walked in. The other 5 or 6 staff members I saw just stared at their phones or stood leaning against a wal and none looked approachable or friendly. It must have been the boss’s night off. That customer waited longer for someone to greet her than I would have. The only staff member that I saw working hard for the entire hour that we were there was the bartender. Kudos to that guy! I hope the wait staff shared their tips with him. It took about 15 minutes for us to even see our waiter to ask for our check AFTER he brought us a to go box. So, even though the food was good, I doubt we will be back because if the staff doesn’t want to be there,...

First time trying Tipsy Taco. We definitely love our tacos and Tipsy Taco was worth the stop. Our server was extremely nice and attentive. The food came out quickly and was accurate. Our only suggestions would be on the street corn and the taco offerings. For the price that is charged, I would give 2 pieces of corn and definitely make sure it wasn’t dry or overcooked. As far as the tacos go, I would offer an option to get multiples, like 2 or 3, at a single price point. But all in all, nice work Tipsy Taco!

Ordered their queso and a margarita flight to begin with. Presentation on both were great. Queso was thick and flavorful. The margarita flight was solid. All were great, but my winner was the strawberry. Ordered the baja shrimp and luck of the Irish tacos w/ lettuce wraps. Corned beef was flavorful and tender. The shrimp was cooked nicely. Flour tortillas are good - standard for a taco joint. Service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant is well maintained. Will be returning.
