First time visiting and it was phenomenal. I have been in culinary and fine dining for most of my career, and I wanted to try something new. The entire experience was amazing.

Noise level was a little high, but I was sitting in the bar area, not at the bar, but close by.

Ahi Tuna appetizer was super rare, the only way it should be. Bright red, not pink, and the flavor profiles were perfect.

Filet Mignon entree was cooked rare, the way I requested, and the composed dish was well balanced with rich flavors from the Demi-glaze and mushrooms.

My server, Miles, was attentive, not overbearing, yet courteous. I ordered my salad, appetizer and entree all at once. I never waited more than 3 minutes after finishing one course and the next arriving. All plates were removed promptly and water and cocktail refills were offered perfectly.

I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner (sit away from the bar for quieter ambiance.) or just for a night out. And I strongly recommend requesting Miles to...

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations—especially for the price. I started with an old fashioned, which was $20 (significantly more expensive than the other cocktails on the menu). Sadly, it was not good at all—so much so that I sent it back and gave them another chance with a second one, but it wasn’t any better. I switched to wine after that to play it safe. The espresso martini was slightly better and more reasonably priced at $12, but still nothing special.

The food was also underwhelming. I ordered a $50 filet, which lacked flavor and was cooked well done instead of the medium I requested. At that point, I just wanted to finish the meal and move on.

I will say the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and was very busy, so maybe I just caught them on an off night. That said, I left feeling like the experience didn’t justify the price. If you’re planning to dine here, I’d recommend sticking to wine and managing expectations...

My husband and I eat out a lot, but we don't live near this area so we just tried Augusta Grill for the first time. I feel like we have been missing out. From start to finish, everything was fabulous. The service was undoubtedly the best we've ever had in Greenville. Multiple managers stopped by to check on us all evening. The bread & butter are homemade (the little things matter for a stellar restaurant), scallops, veal picatta, caesar salad, and blackberry cobbler were all top notch. You can tell it is all homemade. The drinks were great. Food is reasonably priced for a restaurant of this quality. I have to say that I was really pleasantly surprised about the level of service and food here. We will be back for sure. If you haven't been here, make it point to go. If you have... you are...

Augusta Grill is located on Augusta Road in Greenville, SC. Reservations are recommended, as they generally stay busy! The location, atmosphere, attention of the staff are just some of the reasons that I highly recommend them. The food is delightfully prepared, and the options of small plates with lighter fare as well as hearty portion options are well suited for either appetite spectrum. My favorite though, is their dessert! I ordered the chocolate lava cake, warmed, with icecream a la mode, and it was the perfect finish to a fabulous dining experience!

We went to August grill for our Anniversary. The ambience was quite charming but some might say decore can use some updating. We were greeted very promptly. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the steak. Everything was beautifully cooked. Side dished were delicious too. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Beverages were topped off regularly. Table was cleared promptly between the courses. Since we were celebrating our Anniversary they gave dessert and champagne on the house. Overall we had a wonderful evening @ Augusta Grill.

Drove 40 miles to eat here while in the area for work. This is the epitome of southern fine dining. My party started with some tuna and scallops, and a delicious bottle of Malbec. For my entree I was treated to a juicy pork tenderloin with fresh seasonal vegetables. Capping off a great evening with a smooth velvety Sweet Potato Cheesecake. Our server Miles was beyond excellent, obviously well trained and a master of his craft. If you are in the area, this establishment is a must if you want an eloquent fine dining experience.
