I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so. I JUST left this location, so I don’t have names of the employees I interacted with but it should be easy enough to check the schedule. As someone who works in food and beverage, and was actually on my way to my double waitress shift, I completely understand how hard working with the public is. However, I was not expecting to be treated so absolutely rudely. I placed a mobile app order around 2 hours ago and showed up to pick it up. I assumed by placing ahead of time, my order would be packaged and ready. It wasn’t, but there was a line in front of me and obviously one person working behind the counter. I left early, so this wasn’t a huge deal. When I finally got to the front, I told the lady my name and she walked back around the counter to and found my order receipt. She then proceeded to tell me that she essentially did not have the donuts she needed to complete my order. I didn’t really know what to say, so I asked what should I do. She said she’d have to go get stuff from the back and I said okay, she walked off to do so. When she came back with two trays of donuts, she threw them into the counter and looked at me in utter frustration and rudely told me what donuts she did have to assemble two of the four dozen assorted I’d ordered. At this point I just wanted 4 dozen donuts and to get out of here, so I agreed. She then, in a very aggressive manner, started packing them. She was slamming things, including my boxes, etc. Was also talking under her breath the entire time, but I couldn’t hear what she was saying. At this point another employee who appeared to have been working the drive thru came over and started helping the customers that had been behind me. The employee assisting me flung three boxes into a bag and said “there” before nudging the box across the counter to me. She then looked to the other girl who had come to help and loudly exclaimed “I hate these mobile orders when I don’t have the donuts to fill them.” She started to go on, but the other employee quieted her down and told me to have a good day. I went to my car, in disbelief that someone had been so rude when I was paying for a service. I then realized she hadn’t given m a fourth box of donuts. I pulled through the drive thru, not wanting to deal with the older woman who’d “helped” me before a. The young girl who’s come to help when I was inside was back at the window and helped me with my missing items. She is a GEM. I wished I’d asked her name. She was so kind and helpful without being condescending or letting her frustrations about other things reflect in her customer services skills. Give her a raise. Give her a promotion. She was excellent and the only reason I’d even consider spending my money at this...
Read moreWhere do I even begin.. The store was closed and we had to use the drive thru. When driving around the building we saw 3-4 employees, in KK uniforms, eating and socializing outside. The loading dock door was wide open, showing a mess of boxes. Not only does this look bad it is also extremely unsafe. When we got to the drive thru we had to wait to be greeted when there was only one car in front of us. I can only assume this is because the rest of the staff was sitting outside. When we were eventually greeted we could barely hear the employee. She was talking so softly that we had to turn our car off to hear her. They did not have all of the donuts listed on the drive thru menu - how are we supposed to know what product they have if the store is closed and they don't update the menu board. We repeated our order multiple times because every time she read the order back to us it was incorrect and we STILL got the wrong donuts. We were then given the correct donuts and told to keep the incorrect ones. When reviewing the receipt it appears that she just selected random donuts and not the ones we actually ordered. I can't help but think that if she selected the donuts we did order it would prevent her from giving us the wrong product - making her job easier and making us happier. We asked for 7 donuts and were only charged for 6. We were not offered to upgrade to a dozen, even though it would have been cheaper. We also ordered the specialty holiday donuts that were supposed to be upcharge. We did not pay for the upcharge because again, the employee selected random donuts. Now, I'm not going to complain about paying less than I was supposed to - I just want to make management aware that they are losing out of money out of pure laziness. Now lets talk about the actual product.. the donuts were all different sizes. Some were so small and others were the appropriate size. Everything single one had large finger indents from when they were dipped in icing. The icing was sloppy and just over all not appealing. They were all under filled, only the last two bites of donut had filling in them. You should inform your employees that when they are filling them they should pull the donuts towards them to ensure that the filling is distributed evenly. The filling should also be weighed every time to ensure every donut is getting the correct amount of filling. The glazed shell was "sweating" which is a clear sign that it should have been thrown away and not sold. The only donut that was fresh was the chocolate iced glazed. We will not be returning and it will take a lot for me to decide to spend my time and money at another KK. I will...
Read moreExtremely terrible and deceitful. The loyalty app told us we could get 2 dozen glazed for $2.29/dozen. We waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes, and when we get to the window, the little black girl tries to upcharge us for premium donuts after quoting our order. I asked her to NOT swipe my card until I confirm the order and the amount. We showed her the app on our phone, and she scanned it to also get our points. After explicitly telling her we wanted the two dozen for $2.29 deal, she proceeded to swipe my card prematurely for $20.00 and tried to give us the two dozen donuts. I told her the receipt was wrong and that it overcharged. She said she'd have to get the manager because the system wasn't raining it up correctly. Then, the manager comes over trying to be pushy telling us to just take the donuts and have a nice night. I proceeded to tell him that was NOT what we ordered and told him about the promotion their company was sending us. He stated that we had to purchase a dozen at full price, which is NOT what the app stated. I told him I just wanted my entire purchase refunded and that this was very backhanded the way it was handled. He punched some keys on the computer and said, "Fine, it's done". At this point, I had no proof of voiding the transaction, so I requested a copy of the voided transaction. He hands me a random receipt that simply stated --VOID--, yet has no reference number, nor does it show the last 4 of my card that they prematurely charged. He refused to give me any other documentation, and was very rude and belligerent. I'm never going back to this store, but I will continue to let others know what happened. If the management of this store treats customers this way, I wonder what they do behind closed doors. I only wish the owner or PR person knew about their devious tactics and lack of customer service, let alone their store not honoring the promotions that their company is sending to online...
