White Duck Taco Shop — Restaurant in Greenville

Was having my truck serviced on Laurens Road --- at lunch time --- so I searched to see what was in proximity.

White Duck Taco Shop was near, but not near enough for me to walk, so I toughed it out until my truck was ready. Yeah I know. TMI....but I am building the story. 😉

Two hours later and two hours of think about tacos --- I made my way over to WDTS. 🌮🌮🌮

One, I was intrigued by it's location! Not overly familiar with Greenville, it seemed like it was in an industrial area, but there were lots of small businesses in this one location. Obviously, someone knew something. 🤔

Being a newbie, I followed the duck prints to the counter and confessed it was my first time. Thankfully, that didn't scare them off. 😁

Since I was heading back to the office and it was (now) mid-afternoon --- I (only) bought a single fish taco.

Good fish tacos are hard to find --- but this was one really good!!! Clean and fresh ingredients made it very tasty. I love lots of lime juice on mine --- so next time I will order one with some lime wedges on the side.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is spacious and clean. When I have more time to burn I will see what else they have to offer and what amenities they have.

Is this establishment allergic to seasonings? The meat was bad. No seasonings at all and it tasted weird. Specifically, the bacon. It had such a nasty taste to it I literally couldn’t finish my taco. They got my order wrong. I ordered the clucker, the benji, and the blt taco. What I got was the clucker, the blt, and the fish taco. I’m not quite sure how you can get fish taco from benji taco, but they somehow succeeded in doing just that. I couldn’t even go back because I was on a time crunch so I was stuck with my food. Yay! Don’t we all love getting and paying for food we didn’t even order? The chicken and bacon on the blt taco was atrocious. It tasted horrible, don’t order that taco. Cooks, please season your food. Not everyone can stand bland tasting meat. The clucker tacos chicken tasted like something you could have bought from the frozen food section of the grocery store and warmed up at home, minus the seasonings. It was so bland. I’m wondering how they’re making chicken the main point of that taco, and just miss the point entirely. I’m not even going to speak on the fish taco. I honestly feel catfished. I come here all the time, been a customer for about 5 years now and have never had a problem with customer service up until today. I usually never leave reviews so you have to know it very much annoyed me for me to feel like I have to do this. There was a young lady up front taking orders, didn’t get her name but she had very short hair and tattoos. Her attitude was absolutely disgusting. As my husband was ordering she was making faces, giving looks and sighing as we simply were asking for no lettuce or pico on our childs taco. Also complaining about who she was “going to work with tonight” Her attitude was very uncalled for. Thankfully a different person brought our food to the table but I will 100% say that I ever walk in and see her again, I’m walking right back out. Other than that their food and atmosphere is amazing as usual. Just saying, we come here as a family to eat and have a good time, don’t necessarily feel like having to assist grown people on simple customer...
