This place adds sunshine to a rainy day! It was dreary, cold, and rainy the day that I visited this spot, but the atmosphere here is a burst sunshine! The decor is cute, and the table settings are nice! This place makes me excited; excited to catch up with family and friends, and for sure excited to have a taste of authentic Mexican seafood! We ordered a shrimp appetizer, queso, and the spinach salmon... The chips and salsa have amazing flavor, and the queso was delicious! The salmon was prepared well, but i could tell that the salmon wasn't fresh. The salmon itself, had a little funny taste, almost like it was close to, or past the expiration date. I enjoyed the sauce that they serve over the salmon. They even bring out a complementary slice of toast to enjoy with your meal. The rice was superb, and the vegetables were fresh and delicious! The portion size is plenteous! We didn't have a wait time to be seated; we were warmly greeted, and seated as soon as we walked in. Our server was very courteous. I can see the close parks filling up fast when the place gets busy, but there is more parking towards the back of the building. Check out this place for lunch or dinner, with your bestie, spouse, friend(s), and or family! This is a great spot! Enjoy...
Read moreThis place is so nice! IMMEDIATELY upon entering I was POLITELY GREETED & seated. All staff were polite, clean, neat and well groomed. The restaurant is AMAZINGLY SUPER CLEAN & nicely decorated. I didn’t use the restroom so I can’t comment on it. My hibiscus tea was delicious. My meal was served neatly & my ONLY complaint is that it wasn’t hot. It was warm but not hot. That’s the FIRST time happening for me at a Mexican eatery! With that said, it was so good that I was able to eat 85% of my meal even though it wasn’t hot! Yes, it was that good!!! I will return but the next time I will specify that I need my food to be hot! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It has an extensive seafood menu in addition to the “Tex-Mex” food. 99% of the patrons appeared to be of Latin American decent and that speaks volumes of the authenticity of the cuisine! Thank you staff for making my visit a pleasant one. Best wishes and keep up the EXCELLENT standard for food,...
Read moreThe food is definitely good quality with decent portions, but expensive. Not for students' means, or for working class Mexican people. Also, something I didn't know is that they bill you for the tip as well, so I couldn't tip what I could since they were already charging me for it. I asked for fillete novillero and tamarind agua fresca and I got a bill for $ 30, including $4 for tip. My friend asked for her main dish, in addition to a margarita, and pastel 3 leches, so her bill was well over $50. Just know that if you are going there, be prepared to spend$$$. If you have a good job, it should be fine for you. I don't have anything against leaving a good tip, but some of us simply can't afford a place like this. When you don't know, don't know, but now I know. Maybe one day after school I can have a super job that will allow me to go...
