I love this park as it's one of the hugest in the area (both in terms of the size of the ramps and park itself) but due to its age the ground itself is rough in areas and some of the ramps are in constant need of repair. By the time they fix one another is damaged. With that said, I still love it. There is a hockey rink sized street section with a few features including a badass 20+ foot long rail but it could use some more obstacle or DIY features. There is a small beginner section but speed can be an issue here as the ramps are small but spread out pretty far considering. The big street course is obviously where it is at tho with big fun boxes, a nice kinked ledge, full size rail that is rarely hit but fun, and nice quarterpipe with a spine in the middle which is nice or annoying depending on if you like spines. There is also a massive quarterpipe that is intimidating but really fun to drop in on and try to grind. While not perfect, it is easily one of the best parks here although Greenville DIY is missed as it had some unique concrete features this park...
Read moreMy son (age 8) was in total awe I guess from all the awesomeness this park has to offer! He met some teenagers who where skateboarders and although he was determined to quit the day before from wiping out so much... he saw how the big boys did it & fell in love with it again. They talked to him. Encouraged him and made him feel good. This is priceless to me as a mom. All you skaters are totally Rad to me!!! And this is the dopest bmx/skate boarding park I have ever seen in my 49 years living. They even have a concession booth for shows and bleechers for people like me to watch. This park...
Read moreWood ramps with asphalt base make this more a bike pro than a skate board park. Nonetheless, it is well executed and Ramos looked like they were in decent shape. There's a really good looking double mini with spine that I'd love to try. When I went there it was a weekday afternoon, starting to rain, and about 90 degrees. I would love to see this place when it's busy. As a city owned park (I think) this is on the higher end of wood parks. Most are going with concrete, but I think this was one of the first built, maybe as...
