Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Greenville

Husband not feeling well and he only wanted good chicken soup as my son wanted the same. I have to say , this was the worst. The bowl was filled with undercooked bland tasting egg noodles and a barely shallow broth in the bottom of the bowl. I could not see any chicken pieces in the soup but my son said there was a few small bits. My pad thai was ok so that's the 2nd star. Waited long for food and toasted bread was nothing to share not as picture shown toasted slices. Also, I would like to take back my 2 star because the more I think about this place I even requested that my bread be sliced and toasted for the soup but he returned with another piece of non toasted bread. Further more, my husband was to sick to complain about his soup with hardly no broth in the bowl. We ended up going to Harris Teeter deli which was in the same parking lot because he was could not eat the plastic noodles and got him the best chicken noodle soup he said that he was hoping for at N&C. He would not let me go back in there to get my refund because I was upset by that point. Also, the rice crispy treats was dry and falling to pieces. Not worth the money. Chicken pot stickers also pasty and dry. Really a waste of my money. All the 5 stars reviews must be people that visit during the day while management is there. Because the cooks looked nasty and not really taking pride in their work performance. We also had to clear our own table and remove the number card and old dish to another table. Not so clean but we all was just tired from leaving the Emergency room and just wanting warm healthy soup and before traveling back home. Never again...

9/11/2023 update: I decided to give Noodles another try. Sadly a big mistake. I just got back to work and opened the mac and cheese. It looks bizarre. It is like they used cheap cheddar cheese and it has melted in small little clumps. Yuck. The one improvement I will give them is with the lady who waited on me at the drive-thru. She was very nice and friendly.

5/5/2023 update: I tried mac and cheese last week to give them another try. Pasta is undercooked and the entree was blah. Won't be back.

Been a regular customer since they opened. Most often used their online ordering so I could get my order quickly and be back on the road.

Today placed an order for a small mac and cheese. 17 minutes later (according to their own screen), cook finally puts up a mac and cheese with unmelted shredded cheese. When I asked for the cheese to be melted and not cold unmelted cheese, he looked at me like I was from Mars. Says he'll do it. (It always comes with the cheese melted.). I asked the young person at the counter if they had a new cook in the back. She mumbled no, that the person had been there since it opened.

20 minutes later I asked for a refund since I only get 60 minutes for lunch. Took him forever to do that.

Ordered Noodles & Company and picked delivery. Worst decision I could have ever made was placing this order. Order never arrived, so after 35 minutes past when they said it was supposed to arrive (1hr 45min after placing the order at this point), I call Noodles. Morons @ Noodles location in Greenville told me the food is still waiting for Door Dash driver to pick it up and I when I asked if the food was sitting out for 30+ minutes and probably cold now, Miss Priss had the audacity to be like "yeah probably..." with ABSOLUTELY ZERO CONCERN about the person paying her hourly paycheck getting at least lukewarm food. No concerns about sending cold food when I clarified that food was in fact cold?!?!? Serving food at improper temperature WILL make me, an immunocompromised patient on disability, sick. How dare you. I will never be back. I also submitted a complaint to Door Dash, who YOU chose not I for the delivery carrier, Corporate. I'm going to be the biggest Karen about this and I don't even care... because why should I? That female canine at the Greenville location didn't give a...
