WE will NOT be back. I didn't fall n hit my head so I'm not about to go pay a place to ruin my good mood. It sucks bc the food is actually really good. We couldn't believe how good it was!! 1st Mexican restaurant we chose in Greenville & weve been twice in the last few days but the ladies cooking & calling tickets need a SERIOUS attitude adjustment!! We ordered to go both times. 1st time we got home, we were missing 2 sides so drove back to get it & they acted like we INCONVENIENCED THEM BY DOING IT. you tell them thank you or muchas gracias....you don't get no response. Maybe an, "...uh huh." 2nd time we checked the bag before we left....we were missing 4 things. The young girl with the white Bluetooth in 1 ear & tattoo under the other acted like I was blind & didn't see it. I pulled the stuff out, showed her...she still questioned me, I showed her my receipt. It wasn't what she said (how she said things tho). Told me it'd be a little bit (that's fine) but she LOUDLY BELITTLED THE YOUNG LADY BEHIND THE REGISTER THAT TOOK OUR ORDER IN FRONT OF THE STAFF & CUSTOMERS....blaming her for not putting the order in correctly.....yes she did. You didn't read the ticket right. It wasn't a big of a deal, she made one. The girl behind the register was amazing btw! kind & patient both times but the others...? ..this isn't even all of it...I just don't wanna invest anymore in this place but felt the ones putting money into this EL AZADOR, this is why our future business was lost & We over heard another couple with their baby ALSO saying she had a bad attitude at the table next to us. And while we were waiting we were talking about ordering the 20 tamales Tuesday that unfortunately we'll miss out on now. I've worked the restaurant life as a server & manager in many different settings. I know it gets chaotic & fast paced. Mistakes are made, ppl have bad days & that's completely understandable but a nasty attitude just isn't. We weren't even aggravated about missing food the 1st visit, having to drive back, wait for it, go home & put what we originally got in our dishes to heat up in the microwave bc of course it got...
Read moreFood was great! But service was not good. paid 15$ for fish and shrimp soup and couldn’t eat it all because the spoon was to short! I was told when the soup was bought to the table that this is the spoon that I should use not the small white cookout spoon. That spoon definitely didn’t work. So yes you have to pick up the bowl and drink your soup at some point. And don’t even think you can eat the goodies at the bottom of your soup at first. NO! you have to fish everything out, just ruins a good bowl of soup. And almost lastly, it’s a messy process … Why? because if you park your spoon in the bowl to eat other foods you have ,, YOU SPOON IS GOING TO DIVE RIGHT THE ” into the freaking hot soup. So now you have to fish that out several times! I’m sure know one has explained this to them before so I’m trying to help all who come behind me. BRING YOUR OWN SPOON …. A BIG ONE…! Or a towel to keep wiping the spoon and your fingers of soup broth.
Ok I what are thoughts with the staff? they get 2 out of 5 stars. They say they do not use real silverware because people throw them away. Thats the dumbest answer I have ever heard when you don’t have table servers to clean up and you expect and alow the costumers to clear the table and sort dirty dishes! You have plastic and silverware mixed together of corse its gonna get thrown away! Either you clear the table or take the risk By putting all silver wear out there or you guys bust the table. Yes, we paying top Dollar $$$$. Looks like it.
Please stop punishing all of your customers because you’ve made the wrong decisions. You can’t be a five star establishment with a food truck mentality! I just said what everyone else has been thinking and find away to say! No one is perfect, but you can get this right I have all the confidence in the world in you guys. I’ll be Back. I enjoyed the food not the experience. I...
Read moreIf you are looking for a sign to go here let me tell you this is it! I just moved out here from LA about a month ago. I have been working and cooking and haven’t had much time to explore the surrounding restaurants. My friend came from LA to visit me and we decided to order this food via Grubhub! I got two tacos, one pastor and one pork skin (cueritos) and a chorizo quesadilla and he got three tacos (pastor) and a mushroom burrito. Let me tell you! This was probably one of the closest things to LA street tacos I’ve gotten since I’ve moved to NC! The food was decently priced and the portions were great! The food had so much flavor! Everything was beyond what I expected! I easily could have gotten away with just ordering the quesadilla but I was very hungry. I highly highly recommend this place! It was so good that the next day we decided to get it again! That should definitely tell...
