Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Greenville

I have been eating here for well over a decade, i always loved it. the food is always the same for me, i like it, and unlike what other people post- they do have taste. the guy makes the food in front of you, you can see the sauces he uses, the veggies cooked with it and all. they typically hire college kids with flexible schedules so you dont get professionals, but the kids are nice and polite most times. the owner is not the same however, they can be a bit rude all business minded, but thats just how they are. take it with a grain. the actual location has never changed, so there is obviously alot of cleaning that needs done inside, and some maintenance. alot of times the tables are sticky or almost slip resistant that you cant even pick something up after setting it down. this however doesnt effect the food, which is the reason you originally wanted to come here. Overall, i give the rating because of all of these together, the food is excellent and worth always...

My wife and I have been eating here for a couple of years now and we’ve always enjoyed it. The food has stayed consistent for us, despite what others may say. The food is prepared right in front of you, so you can see exactly how it is being made (i.e., what sauces are being used and what vegetables are being cooked with it).

They typically hire college students, so customer service can vary but most days the staff are polite. The location itself hasn’t changed over the years, so it could use some updates and maintenance. More often than not, the tables are sticky, often to the point where you can barely pick something up after setting it down.

That said, it doesn’t take away from the food, which is the real reason you'd want...

We enjoyed our first visit to this establishment! They gave us quick, friendly service. They have a nice selection on the menu with sushi and soups as well as Hibachi choices. I chose the Steak Hibachi which included Zucchini, Onion and Mushrooms, served with your choice of white or fried rice, and I also ordered the Clear Onion Soup which was delicious (but did not get a picture) They have a "Sauce Station" in the restaurant which has some of the BEST Ginger Sauce I've ever had anywhere! This was our first visit, but it will not be our last!...
