Paleteria Deya — Restaurant in Greenville

While visiting Greenville we were craving ice cream. We thought that Paletetia Deya sounded interesting. A Google search revealed that Mexican ice cream is more dense and gelato-like than American ice cream. We were excited try something new!

There were plenty of flavors to choose from. Some predictable, and others that were unfamiliar to us. My wife played it safe and went for a scoop each of Cookies & Cream and Cookie Dough.

I asked the young lady behind the counter about the Bischoff Cookie & Cajeta Coffee in a waffle cone. She told us she invented the flavor. She gave me a sample and I was sold. I went with two scoops in a waffle cone. The coffee and caramel flavors were exceptional. Don't sleep...

I will NEVER go here again! Their ice cream is the best but however the young little girl in there and yes little girl because that’s how she acts. She needs to get fired. We have gone several times and she had an attitude but today just was just overboard. She gave the nastiest attitude to my husband about what he ordered. I don’t know if she is the owners daughter or whatever she is but she should not be there or they will start loosing a lot of customers because of her attitude. She is an employee and her priority is to take care of the client. I rather drive 2 hours to go to the another paleteria rather than spend another dime at this place. My girls and I came into the ice shop and the floor was wet from where it was mopped, no floor wet sign was in sight and I almost fell. The young lady wasn't friendly and her phone seemed to be more important than me the customer.
