Terrible experience at this location. The stalls to park and order were closed so you have to go through the drive-thru. We were asked to hold to order. After several minutes of sitting there no one told us to order. Finally someone came on the intercom, and we told him our order. He asked us to repeat it multiple times and still could not understand what we wanted. We ended up driving up to the window area to tell him what we wanted(2 #15’s with medium tot one with a bottle of water and one with medium iced coffee). The total he gave us was also about $4 less than what it should have been. He took our card to pay and then came back to the window again to ask us what type of burrito. Then another worker came to the window and said they needed to know what we wanted to order. We politely asked for our card back told them we did not want the food and left. Having been to several Sonic locations this was by far the worst experience we have had and will not be returning.

We visited Sonic on Pleasantburg on Sunday night. When I got home, my food was cold, I had to warm it in the microwave. But the biggest issue I had, was when my daughter ordered, she ordered the buffalo chicken combo with tots and a drink. She had to pay $10 for her meal when the largest was $7 and change. This is the 2nd time this has happened at this restaurant so she got a receipt and they had rung up her order item for item instead of the entire meal. We have overpaid for her order twice due to this issue. We feel like they are just trying to take advantage of a young lady. Here is a pic of her receipt vs her brothers receipt.....they were BOTH combo meals.

DO NOT USE THE APP FOR SONIC HERE!! The gal who runs this store is a great person, after 5 times of app fails with me sitting there over an hour and them not knowing i was skeptical. She made it right, I told her I would try without the app and hopefully it would change. FOR SURE IT DID, the app is horrible here, even other stores have the issue but this one does in specific. Great service when you use the RED BUTTON!! Thank you for making it right!!

She made it right, I told her I would try without the app and hopefully it would change. FOR SURE IT DID, the app is horrible here, even other stores have the issue but this one does in specific. Picked up lunch on the way back home - it's a location that I understood had changed management back a few months or so ago, so I decided to give it another shot as I've always enjoyed Sonic's food, as far as fast food goes.

Long story short, after finding an item not prepared as ordered, we pulled around to a parking spot and hit the "red button" to explain the situation. Instead of having someone service us, we were told we had to go back through the drive-through (which already had 3 cars in the line... and for those unaware, Sonic drive through times are a bit slow.)

After we went through and got the item corrected, we headed home, and after unpacking the meal (for 3 people), we found that the Grilled Cheese sandwich we got hadn't even been toasted. It was slightly moist (presumably from some form of steam?) but the cheese inside of it showed very little in terms of signs of melting, and there was no coloration on the bread at all.

I get it. When you take food home, time, temperature and moisture change things... but they don't untoast bread. They can make it soggy, soften, or many other things, but they don't unmelt cheese into its original configuration, and they don't strip the color of 'grilling' (or toasting) from bread. As someone who has spent many years in the food service industry as a cook, I can speak pretty confidently on this.

So, the mix of customer service issues (let's be honest... they should have sent someone out to the stall and just exchanged the food, rather than making us wait another 8 minutes in the drive-through line, because they insisted we had to go back through it to get the order corrected,) and simple food issues (not toasting a grilled cheese, adding all of the usual ingredients on an item [burger] requested to be prepared 'plain'...) leads me to give this place a...

My daughter and I waited almost 30 minutes to place an order and remind you they were NOT busy last night which originally was not big of a deal cause we weren’t in a rush..BUT when we finally got to the speaker and the woman came across the speaker you could immediately hear the animosity in her voice..Someone or some thing was playing music loud which was not ours and the first thing she saids is I don’t know what kind of music your playing but your going to have to turn that down so I can hear you or I’m going to have to ask you to leave with so much anger in her voice I was taken back by it..I was like excuse me mam but that music isn’t coming from my car it must be the sound system from your store and then she cut me off and said no mam I got tired of that earlier and shut it off so again if you can’t turn it down I’m going to ask you to leave so then my reply back was mam as I was saying it might be the car behind me then she just continued on in the hateful voice I said you know what I don’t need your service have a great evening! To Begin with she was in a building speaking to me through a mic so how would she know if it was my car or not playing the loud music but secondly and most importantly she could’ve talked to me a little differently she could said mam not sure if it’s your car or not but I can’t hear you well could you please drive on up to the window but no she did not..I drove off because if that’s how they treat their customers while speaking I sure did not want them fixing anything of ours! Sonic you need to retrain your employees or hire better ones I get everyone has a bad night but that was totally uncalled for and...

Had a online order for 2 slushes. Pulled up and checked in. A few moments later i hear a girl yell she's not doing anymore curb orders. I Didnt think anything if it. I literally sat there 45mins, and i had to get out and knock on the door. Some short fat girl come to the door stuffing her face with an attitude asked what I had, then came back with my order 5 mins afters. This is piss poor customer service! Unacceptable

Update: So i decided to give them another try after the poor service i received in the past. Well... this time I didnt have to wait for eternity to getvmy slushy, but they had no clue what i ordered. The girl came out and said what do yall want 😒, like i was just sitting there for my health. But she quickly came back with my order. I believe she was the only one that was actually working. Because i noticed 3 guys that worked there behind the dumpster smoking weed. I knew it was weed because you could smell it. To sum it all up, i dont see this location staying open to much longer with service like this. Get it...
